  1. Umm, not that I can tell. Maybe I'll realize that I did later though. Are you back in school yet?

    I Am...

done with 20-11 of July's (yes -- July's) BZ official top ten list. So go check that out
  3. Oh and if you read the bottom ticker, you can tell two models that dropped off from last month. There were around four - five models that dropped off the list, FYI. And the buy or sell rating -- doesn't mean anything really. I mean I would buy Eugenia Volodina at #14, but if it's a drop in ranking, then it's a sell rating. Maybe all of this buying and selling would make for an interesting game. Hmm, now I'm talking to myself. Anyways, I'll be back in 24 hours give or take for the actual top ten.

  7. I have 20-11 done right now. I'll need another day to finish up with the top ten. Damn job -- getting in the way of the top ten. I came up with a stock market theme. If you ever watch CNBC, the layout should look really familiar. So, the graph displays four months (the quarter) and specifically it displays the position of the model the last four months. I think all the numbers are correct. The ticker on the bottom is the same for all of the wallpapers that I made. Just something extra thrown in there. I made abbreviations for each model with 2 - 4 symbols as well. Once again, the "plus" and "minus" numbers are a little screwy. If a model went from 12 to 10, she gets a (+2). While the point value dropped and one would expect a minus, I went with a plus to show positive movement towards the top position. I hope I didn't screw up that logic again...but who cares. Here are the results for 20-11....
  8. The votes are tallied. Off to Photoshop-land
  9. Ok, I'll do it. I don't have a timetable right now for when it'll get done. I imagine 2 hours max (i hope) to record all the votes. The more complex that I make the banners, the longer it will take. I'm a perfectionist -- so I'd hope for Wednesday night
  10. Yes. Do you like to go bowling?
  11. Well, in saying what I said, I meant a celebrity on the cover will sell more copies than a model -- and if this weren't true, I doubt so many people here would always be complaining about how celebs have taken over -- so yes, the general public doesn't care as much about models. But there's some truth in models making less interesting content, too. If you asked a model and a movie star about the latest step in their respective careers, it would probably be far more interesting to hear about making that latest blockbuster movie rather than being on the latest runway. I agree with you for the most part. At the same time I would say that models have some great stories -- they just maybe aren't as ...umm educated in PR and interviewing as the Hollywood types. But it's hard to compare walking down a runway with filming on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean. But should there even be stories like that in a fashion magazine? I would still take models over celebrities because I don't care about selling magazines.
  12. Noted. But if you do need any help you know who to ask.

  14. So are you saying that the general public doesn't care about models? Or are you saying that models don't make for interesting content? Or both?

We got Dan Wheeler which is ironic cuz we traded him away about 6 years ago. Some guy at work today posted a picture of Barry Bonds and said that a pictures is worth a thousand words. My response -- are any of those words steroids or asterisk?
  16. So he should do it then! Where is he now? Steve at your service. It's the weekend, which means I have spare time. So if there's anything that you want done, now is the time. Of course I will require some type of payment.
  17. I agree with MLA that RE2 was much better than RE1. Hopefully it isn't like the games because RE3 was the worst of the series. The problem I had with the first movie is that except for a few things there was nothing that made it a resident evil movie. I guess no one wants to see cops running around killing giant snakes and spiders but that's what it should have been and it should have been in a mansion. The best part about the first movie was its ending. That's when I finally felt like it was like the games with Milla in the city. RE2 got the atmosphere right and actually added characters from the series like Jill and Nemesis. RE2 was high on the cheese, but as a fan of the games it didn't really matter to me. Love or hate Milla, but her superhuman character just doesn't really fit into these movies. The essence of a horror movie is that anyone could die at any time. When she's running up skyscrapers and getting shot by rocket launchers, it just ruins the mood. So hopefully the third movie is the best one. That would be nice.
  18. Hot damn. This movie should kick ass. I'm not really into horror comic books because they can't really scare you with static panels, but this is probably the first horror movie I've ever really been motivated to see. Most horror movies are just banal.
  19. (I got these pictures from Newsarama) Mark 1 armor: Another Teaser poster:
  20. This was from Comicon when they introduced the "original" armor. This was what Iron Man wore in the 1960s. It should only have a brief spot in the film before he gets to the red and gold. Nothing really special but it is what it is.

Glavine gets win number 300, Bonds gets HR number 755, and Arod gets HR number 500 and apparently no one here cares
  24. The Simpsons movie. Good, not great, but better than the past few seasons anyway.
