I feel like....especially when it comes to beauty....people want someone closest to what they can become with makeup or surgery. Even if Jasmine was highly sought after in China(I won't say Asia because they Japan/S. Koreans/etc. all have diff. beauty standards)...Jasmine's beauty would be considered unattainable because of how rich and deep her color is. But I mean.....there is now a procedure that can make you "African." Literally, they have "melanin injections" on the market. I know in Russia they have an injection/procedure to reverse high levels of melanin production in someone who is much darker than the average Russian...aka African. I noticed the "In The Middle" celebrities like Rihanna and Beyonce draw crowds....then there is always perceived social importance of race that comes into play as well. I have that complexion and it is widely praised among Asians or at-least the ones I came across or around. It's weird but whatever. I need to find this clip. 😂

I don't think it's racism. It is just preference. Every country has what they consider to be the most beautiful. It's different for all countries in Asia. But China still has a preference in ancient beauty standards and practices long before Europeans traveled there.

Now to time to make changes in VS. Keep that same energy Wexner.

Something like that happened to me but it was to my friend. They wouldn't let her in the club without paying this huge price but wouldn't charge me anything.....mainly because of the way she was dressed and it was African inspired.......NYC is really like that so I am not surprised. What made VS....VS.....was the angels and quality of the products(with the old manufacturers). If other brands like Agent Provocateur and Intimissi had investments for shows, creative direction, and marketing like VS. It would be a wrap. And put it on HBO so I can see some ass for once. EDIT: It is the most expensive fashion show ever with an estimated cost of more than $26.4 million — New York Times(2017).

Also, Ariana dissed VS in a song so IDK about her performing.

I mean when I first saw Karlie Kloss....I did NOT understand the HYPE AT ALL. POINT. BLANK. PERIOD. But when she hit the runway/done editorial she stayed. Sadie just never got a chance to prove herself. If you head over to models.com....many of the girls are not remotely or traditional attractive but are being booked for the runway constantly. So when you get a Gigi, Bella, Romee, Candice(yes, I said it. No-one cared about her pre-2008 as a brunette),Taylor....even Sara.....etc...they stand out even if they are nothing comparable to the supers of the 90's with the hype they get.
