that is actually very low scoring... 6-3 7-2 6-5 7-4 12-4 14-4 9-7 those were some of the scores for various games last night over 10 runs means the opposing teams pitching bites the big one under 3 runs scored for both teams, means there was a pitching duel i'd say 5,6,7 is average...but i've never actually sat down and calculated and it can vary for different teams...a 1-0 game for yankees - red sox is INSANE, coz both teams are slugging teams and are in the top 3 of pretty much every offensive category. on the other hand, a low scoring game for the chicago white sox or minnesota twins is pretty common...they have good pitching (well minny not so much anymore) and so they dont have to worry about scoring as much.
