That's doubtful. The current SISE editor hasn't given consecutive covers to any model since '96/'97 with Tyra and has never given two solo covers to any model. The pattern of not repeating covermodels is rather well-established at this point. (This is of course excluding the All-Star issue.)

It just occurred to me that (excluding Heidi, whose Angel status is kind of ambiguous), the list has more ex-Angels than current ones.

It's nice to see that the majority of the top 10 are women over 30. The "you have to be in your teens or twenties to be hot" mentality is annoying.

The list of nominees was huge and in alphabetical order. I don't see how they could have been pushing an agenda.

Huh? Marisa had the highest ranking among the staff (and voters). And I doubt there's a too heavily American bias. I mean, Cheryl Cole ranked top 10, I believe, and who in all of the U.S. knows who Cheryl Cole is? There's quite a few British and Australian women on the list too that have received very little exposure in the U.S.

^ The last couple years Ale has ranked higher than Adriana a lot of the time. And she was ranked #2 by Askmen a couple years ago I think. But it's pretty bad that an HF model like Rocha can make this list yet Doutzen can't, even after several years as an Angel.

Can I vote for Dwight Shrute from "The Office"?

Joe, you're an awesome guy, but your argument is pretty ridiculous. Truly great QB play elevates the entire team. Playing with a lead given by the offense allows a defense to be more aggressive and effective; a great QB forces a defense to stretch itself, therefore allowing a more prolific running game. If the Colts' defense and running game couldn't be as prolific as the Saints', then clearly Manning's play as a QB was less beneficial to his team than Brees' (who is the definition of being a team's heart and soul). And if you want to go by numbers (which to me is really a cop-out to explain Manning winning via popularity), Philip Rivers had the statistically better season and is absolutely no less important to his team - 11 straight final regular season wins? That's an extraordinary feat after being written off with a 2-3 start. And it wouldn't have been even a remote possibility without Rivers. And this is to say nothing about Chris Johnson. The guy had a historic season, but he and Brees lose to Manning because Manning had a pretty good season (only his 4th-best statistically). It's obvious at this point that as long as the NFL continues it's Peyton love-fest, what anyone else does is irrelevant in MVP voting.
