How about... because even people who enjoyed the movie admit it's generic and predictable? Or because eight out the other nine Best Picture nominees are rated higher on Rotten Tomatoes, including a few fantastic movies like The Hurt Locker and Up at 97% or higher? Or because the Oscars shouldn't sell its integrity to reverse the trend of declining ratings by catering to the film that brought in the most money?

I didn't think all that much of Hilary's SI photos this year, but if I saw this sight in real life, I would pass out and die.

Or you coould just tell us what it is... then scan it.

Vote for Marisa in the SISE bracket. I guess we're voting on the great SISE photos ever and Marisa has three, although I don't think any of the three are really her best. I'm surprised they didn't put up the infamous i-Pod photo for voting.

Has anyone checked out the Swimsuit bracket yet? I don't know if the idea is that these photos are literally the best SI thinks it's ever put out, but I give them credit for not being biased toward the more recent years.

Before seeing all the photos, I expected to have a ton to say. After seeing all the photos, my impression is only... meh. Bar was a big letdown and a lot of the photos of a lot of the models made me think they were just outtakes from previous years. The only thing I'd like to see in the actual printed issue now is a sexier shot of Irina naked with the laptop. That at least has some potential.

Okay, all the joking aside, I don't see why we're assuming Tom Arnold is now some pseudo-molester here. I saw that part of the game and I didn't even notice him catching her waistband because the moment was so brief and in all likelihood unintentional. Marisa tried to keep the play going after it was over (I think she was already in the end zone anyway) and it was kind of a "wtf is she doing?" moment. Anyone probably would have tried grabbing her again to get the flag from her waist if she was still fighting. Not to mention, male players had their waistbands pulled down by other male players. It's a sport. It happens.
