Normally all that does is piss them off. Most spiders are actually immune to the poisons or have built up enough of a tolerance that they can pretend to be dead, but as soon as you dispose of them down the toilet or in the trash they'll come back.

That's nothing compared to last year
My mom bought her shit because she feels bad.... the fact that I have to deal with her on Christmas isn't going to be fun at all. I can see Candice and my mom getting into it big time.

If it's a Chilean Recluse just know they are not aggressive at all. It is active for a few weeks during spring, when it's mating season and that's it. It won't attack you unless provoked. Best defense against them is to keep Tiger spiders around, they are the natural predator of the recluse
