  1. Series 52 is really nice- one of her best in my opinion. It seems like she is growing her hair back again.
  2. Taylor Swift's wikipedia page, likely edited by Swifties is extreme/insane, she's like the second coming of Christ or something. It resembles communist propaganda where everything is attributable to one person, the dictator.
  3. Kind of like Henry Cavil, imho they are where they are mainly due to looks. Yea overall having the face, being an ok-ish actor, being 190cm and having an extremely good physique is pretty rare. I think both guys use steriods and tren from time to time with professional help. To maintain that body they have to eat 5 meals a day and exercise very hard everyday, something that is eats a big chunk of one's life. If Chris could act like Christian Bale he would be a great actor. I think Chris Hemsworth was completely miscast as Thor outside of his looks, which were perfect. I watched the first film and couldn't continue because of that. They should have just got one of those guys from the Vikings show lol. Besides his looks he has kind of a weak voice for an actor, especially for a guy that big. I have a better voice than him..
  4. Overall (I haven't gotten around to finishing Furiosa yet- I've been revisiting Fury Road & the world building to prep for my viewing) from what I can see Furiosa is not made with the same attention to detail and difficulty level as Fury Road. There are various documentaries out about the Production of Fury Road- it was very difficult to make and Miller was planning it (Furiosa & Fury Road) since the early 2000s. In a way it is a masterpiece that is rarely made, as it took so much effort. They also custom built a fleet of cars for the film. It kind of reminds me of the production process of first 3 Lord of the Rings and Apocalypse Now- These films are so hard to make and require so many years of effort so the final result is much different from the typical hollywood hack-job. 5. Is his career declining? TBH I haven't found him a particularly good actor, at least compared to the A-listers I grew up with. Kind of middling, I think he looks great physically and matches the Superhero/action roles that he does. The generation of A-listers that I grew up with (90s and early 00s) have either aged out or are aging. It seems like the 80s-90s-00s had so many great actors compared to today. I agree that it seems like a new generation has not really emerged, I personally believe it's due to how hard the movie business is now along with other factors. It also may be true that the current (2024) A-list class, if it ever comes would have to be different than those that came before. (as actors in the 60s-70s were different than those afterwards).
  6. I personally find Austin and Timmy's faces annoying to look at, and that's partly why I haven't watched Dune or finished Masters of the Air. The Jacob guy is rocking the K-pop (effeminate/androgynous aesthetic). 3 of Male stars in this list are pretty effeminate.
  7. hahaha! Did Cate Blanchett make a pro-Palestine fashion statement at Cannes? | The Independent
  8. 6/1/24 - Apparently it appears that the claims of 'Sumy offensive' was part of Western MIC- NATO-Ukraine's propaganda lobbying to get US approval to strike targets in Russia (Belgorod region). They got approval to use HIMARS rockets but not missiles. -Russia gave passports to re-occupied citizens of Kharkiv Oblast. Kharkiv Oblast is a heavily Russian-speaking and more pro-Russian region and it is possibly an area that Putin will annex in the future. -Reflecting on Western claims that Russia received 5 million heavy artillery rounds and massively outproducing US-NATO combined over the past year- while impressive I am wondering if this is another lie by the Pentagon. If this was true why haven't the Russians quickly blow up city after city like they did in 2022? They were using millions of rounds then, up to 1.5 million a month. Chasiv Yar hasn't been blown up, neither has Vochansk. If the Russians were determined to use these 5 million rounds they are supposed to have they could just steamroll the remaining Donbass cities and blow them up one by one but they haven't. The other possibility is that this is not a Pentagon lie and these rounds are being stored for future offensive use.
  9. oh I didn't know that. I thought he was a guaranteed draw due to his looks. Come to think of it Tom Hardy as Joe Monroe (Immortem Joe) makes more sense. He basically played the character in Dark Knight Rises & Taboo and is good at it. But he was already used as mad max lol.
  10. this was pretty epic (and funny)
  11. yeah- I watched bits of the hexer show and it's far more authentic in its casting and atmosphere. I think the CDPR games are influenced by it and adopted its aethetic as a starting point.
