Of course, there are many categories, there are the emotional ones, the action junkies, the intellectual ones... I don't want to list all because: 1) I don't want to stereotype, 2) I don't know how many categories there are. The action junkie just love actions, they don't care about the plot. They tend to watch dumb movies like Daredevil or Steven Seagal stuff. The emotional ones are those who loves corny flicks like Titanic and Lost In Translation. The intellectual ones have tend to watch movie that has a meaning like an artistic value or a reflection of the society's values and culture. That is, however, another type of intellectual ones, the not-so-intellectual …

I have this scene in my head, hopefully someone knows what it's from... some guy (probably not too tough) gets the snot beat out of him, I think in a bar. he's tossed out on his butt. I'm not sure if he goes right back in, or comes back after a while, but he goes back in and smacks a lot of guys around. I think it's unexpected, because he's not a bruiser himself. when he re-enters the bar, the bouncer steps to him and says something like "well, what the fk do you want??" after which he gets thrashed... anyone? thanks!

  7. I just saw this the other night and it was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. It's done as a mockumentary and just had such an excellent cast.

Which directors, actors, writers, or even producers have created projects in the past that cause you to assume you will like their new project before seeing it? Or another way to ask it, whose work do you enjoy frequently enough that you are excited for whatever they are creating next? You could also include people you immediately assume you won't like their new work. Important note: Just because you assume you will like someone's work beforehand doesn't mean you have to like it after viewing it. It's not highly probably to like everything from any one artist. I started this thread here in movies, but it could easily be used for televis…

The film version of The Da Vinci Code is attempting to reduce the offence that the best-selling book caused to Roman Catholics. Sony Pictures, the studio behind the film starring Tom Hanks and Sir Ian McKellen, is reported to have been so concerned that it has consulted Catholic and other Christian specialists on how it might alter the plot of the novel to avoid offending the devout. Alright, gamers, here ya go: World of Warcraft is now going to be a major motion picture and it already has big names attached, including producers from The Dark Knight and the director of Spiderman, Sam Raimi. No details yet about what the movie will be be about, but Raimi is said to start work on the project as soon as the shitshow known as Spiderman 4 is complete ----- Even if it's terrible, It's worth it to pelt shit at Alliance players who jump gleefully from their mom's mini-van. For the HORDE.

  21. So this clown Uwe Boll has made some of the worst movies ever. mostly adaptations of video games. and naturally, anyone who sees these movies pans them. critics hate this guy, and he hates them. so his solution? fight them in the ring. http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=65474 like a movie critic is going to want to spend the time beating him up (or vice versa!) and end up in one of his terrible movies. oh boy.

I am super excited about this. Days of Future Past was so amazing and was definitely what the franchise needed to give it life again. Bryan Singer is back in the sequel to First Class and Days of Future Past. The setting is the 1980s and the X-Men will have to deal with the toughest villain Apocalypse. James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholaus Holt, Evan Peters and Hugh Jackman are set to return. And today Variety and Bryan Singer confirmed that Oscar Isaac will be playing the villain Apocalypse. No other cast is announced so far but young Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm will be in this. Also not sure if Gambit will feature or not. But i…
