Yesterday a special screening of the award winning documentary "A Life Among Elephants" took place at the iconic Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam. The film/documentary, produced in association with Save the Elephants, chronicles the life and groundbreaking conservation work of Dr. Iain Douglas-Hamilton, a pioneer in elephant research. Jetteke van Lexmond and Doutzen Kroes hosted or participated in a Q&A session on stage after the screening.

She looked stunning and ready to rock the runway in Paris. I was sure she would do at least one big show in Paris with her recent Vogue France cover. This season, she only did one B-list show (Khaite in New York) and she did not even open or close it. And she booked zero campaigns... very disappointing. Additionally, she is not featured in the iconic Vogue NL April issue by Inez and Vinoodh, who photographed all of their friends for this issue. Another disappointment... Her recent A-list Vogue cover for France sadly seems to have no impact on her career.

Although I never heard of this brand, I am happy that she has walked in a show in NY after 6 years. It seems to be a good new brand to walk for and the casting and the show were good received. Hopefully, she will now continue and we will see her in other cities during the fashion weeks! She must show what the power of a Vogue France cover can do for her comeback. Walk more shows, and then hopefully finally book big campaigns and many other covers again. Increasing the number of shows she participates in will enhance her chances of bookings campaigns and magazine covers.
