I used to be a fan of this chick, but honestly... She has gotten on my last damn nerve.

Kanye West took a mic from you, he did not rape and kill your mother. GET OVER IT! How long is she going to milk that for? Another year? Taylor Swift is 20; the way she's been handling that whole Kanye/VMA thing you'd think she was twelve. Grow up.

And another thing, that whole dramatic somber/maudlin performance: 'you're still an innocent'? I'm sure Kanye cried one precious tear because he knows, in his heart of hearts, you forgave him.

Shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down, Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift was terrified about performing her Kanye West-inspired song at last night's MTV Video Music Awards, a friend has claimed.

Despite the good intentions of 'Innocent', in which the country music star forgives West for last year's infamous stage invasion, a source revealed to PopEater that Swift had been concerned about how the notoriously volatile rapper would react.

"Taylor was a nervous wreck before she hit the stage last night," the friend said. "She knew Kanye was in the building and was terrified and praying that he wouldn't pull another stunt.

"Taylor rejected Kanye's offer to sing a song he wrote about the entire stage-storming incident and had no idea how he would react to the song she wrote and performed about him."

The website also claimed that extra security had been laid on for the event to discourage a repeat of West's actions at last year's ceremony.

Really, Taylor? You were scared that big bad Kanye was gonna come out and rain on your parade again? This child cannot be serious.

Well, you never know. she does have a right. And the song was about him and how she's alright with it. i feel like people should lay off and stop whining that she's annoying, because it wasn't like she was singing an "eff you!" or something to that nature. i feel like people responded so poorly and immaturely to the song =\ i really love taylor and her music, its sad how people reacted.

You know what's sad? The fact that people cared more about Kanye stealing a mic from Taylor Swift, than they did when Chris Brown beat up Rhianna. Chris Brown has got his fans back, but people STILL hold it against Kanye that he took a mic from a poor 'little' Taylor Swift (who is a goddamn adult). Taylor Swift has been milking the whole VMA situation like there's no tomorrow.

Yes, what Kanye did was messed up, but you know what? It happened a year ago, and he apologized more than once to her, both privately and publicly. How is her little public pity party this year doing any good? Let's say it was a catharsis, fine, but the lyrics to that song were condescending. The only 'forgiveness' in this song was contrived, petty, and self righteous. Taylor's basically patting Kanye on the head and saying "It's okay, we all make dumbass mistakes, like you did when you ruined my glorious moment last year. It's okay. Shhh. I forgive you."

The entire performance was so overly dramatic you'd think that he punched her in the face and kicked her off stage. It wasn't that bad! She had a moment ruined...but then she got to say her speech anyway and the media glorified her and treated her like some sort of saint. Her entire performance was based around some traumatic experience. What traumatic experience? The only immaturity I see is from Taylor's side.

Taylor needs to grow up or shut the fuck up.

Taylor Swift is a big girl. She needs to accept Kanye's rudeness and GET OVER IT. Little kids punch, poke each other's eye, bite and kick each other but the say "I'm Sorry" and move on to their legos. She has received WAY too much attention just because of that stupid incident. Also why in the world would she be scared by Kanye?! I highly doubt snatching a mic = a beating. I hope she goes back to writing songs about crying, ponies, and pick-up trucks soon and gives us some some rest from this whole debacle.

Taylor needs to grow up or shut the fuck up.

Was it really necessary or should you heed your own advice?

Wasnt a bad thread til you had your rant

I'm sorry, how can you gauge my maturity based on one impassioned post? More-so, this is a forum, I'm pretty sure the point of one is to discuss. Don't like my opinion so now I'm automatically, not only immature, but tarnishing an entire thread? You are so very funny.
