August 23, 20231 yr Author 13 hours ago, SympathysSilhouette said: Only got her into my party relatively late too, mostly because I also waited a long while to get Wyll. I like Wyll! 'Blade of Frontiers', a hero of the people, I like characters like that (and his story seems interesting) He reminds me of Zorro.
August 24, 20231 yr Armored core full playthrough is only 11 hrs long, not very long compared to Elden Ring. They still haven't released the Elden Ring DLC yet.
August 25, 20231 yr Lizz's channel is blowing up, last time I saw her she was at 200 subs, now 5.4K. @SympathysSilhouette what do you think of her? She is total wife material , she is wearing an oriental blouse in the baldur's gate video.
August 25, 20231 yr This game just came out. It is the spiritual sequel to "Jet Set Radio", one of my favorite games in high school (Dreamcast).
August 27, 20231 yr saw more starfield leaks. This game uses the same engine as Fallout 4 but the graphics are much better (next gen)
August 28, 20231 yr It's pretty sad that the great metal gear solid franchise is fading away with Kojima committed to death stranding 2. MGSV was 8 years ago. It seems that no developer has stepped up to the plate to create something that can deliver the same experience. I want this statue but it's out of production and going for $1,000 lol.
August 29, 20231 yr I'm doing the Witcher book 2 (Sword of Destiny) for the second time. It's really great as I remembered. However on the second read I am picking up more things than I did in my first. The second story, 'A Shard of Ice' is the third story of the saga that features Yennefer and really deepens her character. This is where we get the stuff with her domestic habits (including the sex unicorn) and the complicated way she behaves in her relationship with Geralt. Istred also appears in the story. CDPR used this story to 'introduce' Yennefer in the W3 in White Orchard/Vizima and Skellige. It's quite uncanny to read it in print again. Then the first story of book 2, the "Bounds of Reason" we get the first real story where Geralt & Yennefer do a quest together and their characters deepened too. It shows how they kind of clash & banter which is what CDPR made them do all the time in Skellige. Like this story their relationship clashes end with a deepening of their relationship.
August 29, 20231 yr re-watching the story from Witcher 1. It really does hold up and it is very loyal to the books. I think the remake has the potential to be extremely good, on par with W3 if the developers get their act together. The big setpiece in the end of the game, the civil war in a city could be amazing if done right. The remake will likely be a much smaller game.
August 30, 20231 yr Starfield's Story Is About Religion, God, And Questioning The Nature Of The Universe - GameSpot Starfield's Story Is About Religion, God, And Questioning The Nature Of The Universe CD Projekt has explained why Phantom Liberty will be Cyberpunk 2077’s only expansion | VGC (videogameschronicle.com) CD Projekt has explained why Phantom Liberty will be Cyberpunk 2077’s only expansion
August 31, 20231 yr well written side quest, loyal to the books. The female antagonist is a spin on Renfri in story 2 book 1, but the setting is moved entirely to Kaer Mohen. The origins of Witcher 3's Novigrad and the nonhuman outskirts is from Book 2, Story 3.
September 1, 20231 yr Funny, it's the future and they are still using libraries : D Bethesda should update the human animations in their engine. They still have a robotic appearance and don't seem like real people. Overall this looks a lot like Fallout 4 in space.
September 1, 20231 yr There seems to be some fallout- no pun intended about this game being overhyped. So far it looks like fallout in space and not a super game. The game was in development for 8 years, used a large staff in the hundreds and had a 9 figure dollar cost. I am looking at the footage of the whole game and I'm not seeing evidence of such efforts. It's a good game but it is limited in scope. I really like the whole NASA-inspired art direction though. Overall, it seems like corporate inefficiency due to the franchise running on its brand equity. A lot of manpower, money and time used and the result was a much smaller game than expected.
September 3, 20231 yr "MGS1 was a major turning point for me. Not only was it the first major PlayStation game to be released worldwide, but it was also a major change in terms of production. Although I had previously planned, written, designed, and directed the game, my superiors had been responsible for production. I had no authority to make decisions on platforms, budgets, release dates, promotions, hiring of staff, participation of outside creators, and so on. When is it effective to sell? How much would be enough to turn a profit? How would we sell? We were not even told how to sell the product. If you have a black box, you can't move flexibly. For "SNATCHER," there were advertisements that revealed Lisa's identity as a snatcher before the release of the product. We were not allowed to choose our staff or on which game platform we create games for, and we were not allowed to collaborate with outside creators. So, in 1996, when they established a production subsidiary in Ebisu, I participated in the management of the company. MGS1 was the first work I produced on my own. To reduce the monthly electricity bill, I asked the company to stop working at night. I also launched a drama series in parallel in order to turn a profit as soon as possible, and ported Bemani in order to stabilize the profit for the fiscal year." "If I was surprised that MGSV was 8 years ago, MGS1 was already 25 years ago. 1998, so it was still the 20th century in Heisei era. I was 35 years old back then."
