July 21, 200519 yr i saw it, i was hoping for more from it, i wasnt satisfied with it but its an ok movie.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I saw it; I thought it was going to be crap, but it turned out to be decent, in my view.The movie takes time to establish the characters, their mutational plight, their first heroic action(s), the ensuing confrontation with Doom... I thought it was well done, for a comic book adaptation. I thought it was far better than Spiderman and Daredevil put together (it was more entertaining; there's lots of tongue in cheek humor in the dialogues).Overall, a surprisingly pleasant movie experience (and I consider myself a tough audience - not that you would care, but I had to say it)!
July 22, 200519 yr i thought there was too much character development, which is why i didnt like it<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I hear you; but it's inevitable in a first movie (of a series) like that (lots of people have never read F4 - starting with me). I expect the next two to pick up the pace, now that the who, what, and why has been properly addressed.
July 24, 200519 yr Being mad at the character development in F4 kind of makes me giggle, considering the movie what a shitstorm of awfulness.
