Are Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen feuding? The two models are in Brazil for Fashion Rio week, and both insist they get along, but one source says that there’s friction. “Both Gisele and Naomi are guests at the Copacabana Palace,” says the source. “Gisele arrived first and Naomi made one request: to be on a different floor — as far away as possible.”

I suppose this should be in the News section, though it comes with pictures:

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL: Brazilian top model Gisele Bundchen sings the samba while attending the parade of her favorite samba school Mangueira, 07 February 2005, developing the theme "Energy" during the first night of Rio de Janeiro's samba school parade at the sambodrome, in Brazil. Mangueira, the most traditional Rio samba school takes part in samba school parade, climax of the city's carnival.

Monday May 9, 9:05 am ET

The Sexiest Lingerie Brand in the World Creates an Artful Exhibition to Celebrate New Las Vegas Store

LAS VEGAS, May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Victoria's Secret is proud to announce the unveiling of The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Exhibit: Ten Years of Sexy. Victoria's Secret Supermodel Gisele Bundchen will unveil the exhibition on June 9, 2005 at 10:30 am at the Forum Shops at Caesars, Las Vegas. The retrospective, running through July 9, 2005, is the public's first-ever opportunity to get up close and personal with the sexy looks and unique story behind the evolution of the world-famous brand and fashion show.

The exhibit is taking place in celebration of the newest, must-see Victoria's Secret location at The Forum Shops at Caesars, Las Vegas, opening on May 19th. With theatrical spotlights beaming on the grand entry and a replica of the glitter-encrusted runway, this flagship Las Vegas store will feature a one-of-a-kind style, theme and atmosphere that evokes the look and feel of being behind-the-scenes at the world-famous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The store will house its collections in specialty in-store boutiques, including the first Chantal Thomass atelier in the United States; and boutiques for PINK, Sexy Little Things, Adults Only suite, and VS Beauty.

The month long exhibition, curated by Valerie Steele, Director of The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Editor of the quarterly journal Fashion Theory: The Journal of Dress, Body & Culture, will feature a compilation of looks beginning with the first show in 1995 and highlights from various shows including Cannes, Wall Street and the well-known national television broadcasts. In addition, the exhibition will include a permanent in-store display, at the new Victoria's Secret store at the Forum Shops at Caesars. Dr. Steele, who received her Ph.D. in cultural history from Yale University said, "This project is very special to me because Victoria's Secret epitomizes the erotic femininity associated with lingerie. I've curated many exhibitions but this has been a unique and exciting experience."

Presented on lifelike mannequins, the retrospective will be dramatically displayed in the "Reflecting Pool" at the Forum Shops near the Las Vegas Boulevard entrance. The exhibition features 35 extraordinary ensembles worn on the runway by some of the sexiest supermodels in the world, including Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Tyra Banks, Daniela Pestova, Gisele Bundchen, Molly Sims, and Heidi Klum. The looks are organized into three themes: Femme Fatale & Fantasy, Goddess, and Innocence & Experience, designed to express the range of emotion that lingerie evokes. Included in the exhibition will be such ornate and iconic pieces as a replica of the jewel-encrusted Fantasy Bra worn by Tyra in 1999 and the famous 12-foot wings worn by Heidi Klum in the 2003 show.

"It's exciting to present this exhibition to the public because it tells the story of the evolution of our brand and fashion show in an historical and visual presentation," says EVP of Public Relations, Monica Mitro. "It's the first time that we've given our fans the opportunity to get a behind-the- scenes close-up look at the elaborate detailing and spectacular styling that have gone into every one of our shows."

I have a task for you. Since VS didn't allow Iris to do it with Adriana, you'll just do it instead. Bring a video camera, and ask her to say "Hi Christian" ;)

It's the least you can do when you live in a city that is regularly visited by VS models!
