May 24, 20204 yr Thanks @Jaku84, I really enjoyed this competition and this one especially was much needed! Interesting results so far. I have to say my biggest suprise is Cindy Bruna ranked #1 at Best Walk! I absolutely love her but don't necessarily think she has such a remarkable walk. Hind Sahli got pretty high in the Best Face as well as Eden Fines. Happy for Riley M being #2. Great job!
May 25, 20204 yr Author First, thank you to everyone who took part. We may not have been many, but your votes were much appreciated. I hope you enjoyed the competition. I loved the idea of celebrating MOC beauties, with the top 20 having girls of origins from South Asia to Africa and the Caribbean via the Middle East to East Asia, all joined by the link of being basically gorgeous. Without further ado, here the top 20 Bellazon MOCs 20 - Cong (7.23) A high score for face, and mid-level scores for career and walk kept this Chinese beauty in the top 20 in spite of a low score for body. And how can you argue with those cheekbones? 19 - Cora (7.25) Cora is an all rounder, scoring reasonably well across all four categories, just missing out in the top twenty for career and face. 18 - Leila (7.27) Another girl with strong, but not exceptional, all round votes, Leila was seen in particular as a strong walker with a great body. 17 - Eden (7.37) Eden had extremely high scores for her looks, with top 10 placing for body and top 5 for face. However, very low scores for walk and career kept her from going higher in the ranking. Clearly, people want to see more of this girl though! 16 - Gizele (7.56) Gizele's face gave her her strongest, but her body and walk were much appreciated too. Her career may not be as visible as others, but she was well liked and scored a lot of votes across all rounds. 15 - Arlenis (7.66) Towards the upper end of an all-rounder, Dominican Arlenis made the top 10 with her walk, and top 20 for body and career. 14 - Riley (7.68) Riley was ranked in the lower end of career, top-10 in walk, and was considered as ranked the second best face, however a low average for body keeps her outside the top 10 overall. 13 - Kelly (7.69) Kelly's body was recognised for being a knockout, with a top 5 placement, however her career was also recognised for being impressive and she missed out by 0.05 from being in the face ranking. 12 - Ming (7.77) A top 10 pacing for her career, and number 12 placings for face and walk mean Ming was a sure-thing for the top 20 overall! 11 - Oluchi (7.82) Oluchi ranked solidly in all categories and placed in the top 20 for every one. You can see why she was such a VS favourite in the early 00's with such broad appeal! Spoiler 10 - Lais (7.99) Lais was ranked in every category and swept her opposition in every round, although when it came down to it, body was far and away her best performing category (and how can you argue with that?) 9 - Liu (8.13) The winner in the "career" category, Liu was also a top 5 for her walk and top 20 for her face. 8 - Emanuela (8.16) The highest ranked Brazilian, Emaniela's highest average was in career, and lowest was in walk 7 - Shanina (8.16 but more votes than Emanuela) The only Australian in the list and the highest ranked girl of South Asian roots, Shanina ranked relatively well in all categories and particularly face. 6 - Tyra (8.23) You cannot argue with such an icon. Her highest score was for her career - this girl has worked hard and made a mark! Spoiler 5 - Jourdan (8.27) Two top 5 placements, one top 10 and one top 20 mean that Jourdan is a fantastic overall scorer. 4 - Sui (8.43) A number 1 ranking for face pushes Sui to the top overall, although she placed well in every category and was a convincing winner in all her rounds in the competition. She is the highest of the four girls from China in the top 20. 3 - Joan (8.54) Never ranking lower than 11 in any of the categories, Joan is the highest girl from the Caribbean and is well liked across the board. 2 - Cindy (8.73) Top 10 in every category and the highest ranked walker, Cindy trounced Yasmin W, and generally was never in any danger in the competition. This VS regular has clearly got it going on! 1 - Imaan (8.83) Top 3 for career, walk and body, and number 6 for face, Imaan was unstoppable on her way to the number 1 ranking overall with such consistency! Were you surprised with the rankings? Anyone that you felt was missing (in career and walk for me, Naomi, but she was knocked out in the first round of the competition)? Anyone wronged? Any recommendations on running a competition if there is a next time? Thank you for taking part!
May 25, 20204 yr Author Personally I was surprised that Emmanuela made it so high, gorgeous though she is. Overall, I liked the top 10/20, and thought it wasn’t missing too many big “names” (except maybe Jasmine, Yasmin, Naomi...) I wish there had been more South Asian/Amerindian/Asian (non Chinese) and Middle Eastern girls in the final rankings and perhaps a few more classic models (names that were big pre-2005 say) but I loved that girls such as Oluchi and Arlenis did well. In particular, I am also very pleased about Joan and Liu’s rankings. They’ve never been my favourite but they are total icons!
May 25, 20204 yr Thank you for running the comp @Jaku84 !! Personally I really enjoyed this one and I hope there will be a part II to this at some point! Imaan's win was nice surprise and I really like the top 5! Maybe Ming should've been in top 10
