What I'm confused about is Ellen is pre-taped. How can she film a pretaped show to promote a show the day it airs? Unless they film very early and make their edits and air it later in the day. Sounds a bit off.

^ Ellen is syndicated so it is taped first. It is usually taped a few days prior to the broadcast but some show like LIVE With Kelly and Michael are broadcasted the day of (I think) but are shown at different times depending on whoever brought the rights to the show.

Well, that's what I'm confused about. Has it already been taped then? It'd make sense for her to be there TO tape it on Tuesday, since she's in LA, but how can she tape a show to promote vsfs when by the time it airs, the show would've aired too.

^ Yes, most likely the episode has been taped already. If not then on Monday. Usually these shows tape about 2 episodes per day. Friday is usually the day they have off. VSFS airs on Tuesday and so does the Ellen episode, so the episode will air before the VSFS is broadcasted on CBS. It is actually a great way to promote the VSFS

Not to beat a dead horse over the head...Lily Aldridge is on CBS NFL pre-game right now, hanging with the panel and making weekly predictions.  Approximately 12-16 million homes are watching right now.

 

Should be Candice.

Candice is not American, maybe she doesn't know a thing about NFL. It would be silly to push her into such environment.

It makes sense to have Lily there.

That was in 2009 when she was a relative “babe in the woods.”  She has had time to mature and grow.  Again, I think she would be fine flirting with the guys and pretending to pick games.

Well, she can't have it all. Other girls need exposure too. Ellen show is a big deal though.

Candice is a doll and a wonderful beauty but at least a reasonable amount of knowledge on the game should be required for an appearance

^ Ok....if flirting with the panel, reading from pre-written cards, and promoting the fashion show constitute reasonable knowledge of the game, then I’m in complete agreement.  Thats all Lily did for a 5-8min segment.

 

I do agree with gab6565 in she sounded like a bit of an airhead the first time due to her lack of knowledge.  But it has been over four years since then.  She may be an expert by now.  My last word on it.

^ They ALL read from the prompter so nothing new there Lily just looks more natural and fluid for the bit. Oh well it is what it is.

Here in The Netherlands the show will be on tv at 24dec. , so i have to wait a bit longer.. But i think i can't wait.. so think i will watch it online btw the lovely Doutzen will host the show here

They still haven't made any notice of when it's airing in New Zealand   Hopefully we get something soon!

I don't know when the show will be in French tv and what channel
