I came across her biography, which stated she was born and raised in the suburbs of Paris. Her parents immigrated to France from the island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean in the late 1970s and divorced when Chantal was 8.

She came in second place in the Elite Model Management modeling competition in Paris.

She has worked with Mario Testino, been featured in Vogue, French Elle, Glamour; appeared in ads for Maybelline, Oil of Olay, Evian, Nexxus, and Nike (besides those already mentioned in the thread).

In 2005, she was hired as a VJ and television host for MTV's Caribbean Network, MTV Tempo, where she conducted interviews with musicians.

In 2007, Elite Model Management in Paris hired Chantal to host Elite Model Look.

She graduated with a law degree from the Sorbonne.

She is the founder of Crêpes Chantal, a minority woman-owned organic crêpe company based in Montclair, NJ.
