I'm no expert of the US politics (though I hear about it a lot, even when I don't want to ), but Obama was very cautious with China as well.

Obama and Trump approaches are quite similar in essence, even if one was more subtle than the other. Journalists don't notice that because manicheism and TDS anaesthetize their brains.

The last 3 administrations (Clinton, Bush, and Obama) all sold out the country to China.

Age and Obesity are the two most important risk factors with Covid. Aging is a natural process. Obesity is (mostly) due to our modern way of life.

Maybe it's time for governments to tackle obesity once and for all. Maybe they can start by dealing with the prime suspects: sugar and processed food.:bellazon:

I agree, but how far authoritarian do you go with it though is the challenge.

Clinton and Bush did, but are you sure about Obama and do you have anything to back that up? I'm no expert, but I heard him saying tough things about China. :idk:

You don't need to go authoritarian, you just need to enforce Antitrust laws and break this damn oligopolies that sell shit food:

And these are just retail brands for the supermarkets. You can add other assholes to this list like: McVomit's (that sells turd burgers) and Starpuke (that sells piss coffee) :nicole:

Jobs still went overseas during his administration besides funding sent over there. There's also chatter about that funding that was sent to China during his administration that a portion of it went to the Wuhan biolab.

Still need better food education and a societal lifestyle change in addition with better local options that go the natural route. My dad told me this today actually that eating out was a treat and all meals were homemade.

Which brings up is it poor choices and a time issue where we want things that are fast and easy?

So wrong and out of touch on many levels.

NFL Issues Strict New Guidelines For Draftees: No ‘Political Statements’ On Clothing

https://www.dailywire.com/news/nfl-issues-strict-new-guidelines-for-draftees-no-political-statements-on-clothing

Looks like this NFL is turning smart and finally understands this very simple line of thought: politicizing your business is exposing it to be hated by a third of the population (the two other thirds being: those who don't give a shit and those who love the social justice nonsense ).

Maybe the mainstream media and actors will use their scarce neurons and understand it too :nicole:

This is where the libtard (libertarian) in me comes out. I don't like that the employer (NFL) is policing their employees on their personal expressions, but as sports fan I just want to see the game and not all the celebrations just cause you just made one good play, pregame, halftime, and postgame crap either.

tl;dr version: don't like the players being stripped of freedom of expression and making sports an event. :nicole:

They're representing the NFL when they speak as players. I don't know how your NFL thingy work, but it's some kind of franchise/association, right?  So, any bloke speaking as a player is supposed to respect the rules of his employer. If he isn't happy, then he can just leave. That's your freedom!

Now, as individuals (outside of work), they can say whatever they want. Simple rule :nicole:

The players aren't technically employees yet cause they haven't signed a contract yet.

Yep.
Another “catch” phrase that I used to use was Rise Above. As a reminder to be the better person, don’t fall into office politics and just be nicer.

Can you name the group that decided to adopt it?

I know Rise Above by Black Flag.

I'm guessing a white nationalist group uses that phrase now. I think there's a phrase Rise Above Hate too.

Yep, and I was using it way before they adopted it.
