Meet The Billionaires And Celebrities Who Live On Miami's Indian Creek Island

With just 33 homes and a population of 86, according to the 2010 census, Indian Creek Village is one of the wealthiest and most exclusive places on the planet.

The village, located on a tiny island in Miami that's primarily occupied by a golf course, is home to billionaires and A-listers from business tycoon Carl Icahn to supermodel Adriana Lima.

But don't plan to take a self-guided tour next time you're in Miami. According to Forbes' Morgan Brennan, who recently wrote about the island, "the sole entrance is heavily guarded, and a private police force patrols the island via boat, jeep and Jet Ski 24 hours a day."

Brennan uncovered a handful of Indian Creek Village's super-rich residents. We're taking a closer look at their mansions.

Supermodel Adriana Lima and her husband bought this pad for $9 million back in 2009. Built in the 1950s, it looks like one of the more modest homes on the island

Doesnt she make like 8 to 9 million per year now? Since she was a contract angel she has been making millions per year plus other gigs. I would guess say shes earned around 50 million total but no one really knows except her and her management. I hope her and her baby are doing well.

Is Adriana a conservative? She retweeted a quote the Huffington post put up that Paul Ryan said during his speech two nights ago, I wouldn't define myself to be a Republican, I am however a conservative, just found this to be interesting. Maybe the religious aspect of it not all that surprising considering she's a devout Catholic.

On a side note, she put up 10 tweets all about her dog, I get that Ivy is important, but lol at TMZ/other news outlets treating it like a missing child.

It's not like a child, but it seems like. I mean, I can't imagine my life without my little dog, he's part of my life for 4 years and I would be too sad if I lose him, really.

I don't know what's wrong about that? beside she is rich and famous she can report for her dog anywhere she wants,I'm really sad too,she had him for 8 YEARS! she is very emotional about her dog,I understand her.Everytime I buy new hamster he lives 1 and half then he dies and I cry like baby for every hamster and I had tones of them  and two very dear cats...I never had dog but everyone are saying that dog is man's best friend,I can Imagine how sad she is.

 I knew you guys would respond in such a way, which is why I was careful to say I thought it was funny that the media treats it as such. No one is saying she can't be upset about her dog. But the wording and dramatic tones of write ups through the media, nothing short of hilarious.

I wouldn't read too far into that huffington RT. But I understand where you're coming from Cherrybomb. I still can't believe the news in Miami did like a 2 minute story on this, sharing her plead for Ivy's return, and interviewing the family that kept the dog. It's kinda messed up that when the interviewer asked if they have been looking for Ivy, the woman shakes her head no but tries to play it off when someone else answers yes.

Now what I want to know is, which poster is responsible for this tweet (not exact words but) "maybe stress will bring the baby"--- Really though?

I hope she sees the dog! They've has the dog for 8 years? I can understand why she's so emotional. Lol at tmz trying to make fun out of it. Sometimes, I think it's a 16 year old writing their articles. E! online and other sites are being more serious about it

Yes, that was me who said this. I was actually kidding, of course stress won't bring the baby, she must be feeling well with herself for the baby to arrive. And even if the baby arrive with stress, it wouldn't be cool since she's sad with Ivy and all.

PS: Yes, english isn't my first language so sadly I get some gramatic 'fails' sometimes, like Adriana does too. I don't even take classes, all I know is thanks Adrianatic's life. That's why I'm here to translate portuguese interviews as I did a few times ;)

Something I'm starting to doubt about her appearance in VSFS this year...
