With regard to what happened to Shaw, the prologue doesn't really give much away, although it does seem to be bridging the gap more between Alien and Prometheus. I would assume the most obvious implication is that if David is releasing a stack of xenomorph eggs on the Engineers' home planet, there’s no real reason for him to spare her.

I don't think it's the eggs- those are the black goo containers do you think david killed shaw?
April 30, 20178 yr I wonder how accurate the promotional X-rays from the previous page are...it depicts the entire crew being infected, and the location/creatures vary. So far there seems to be 2 creatures (one that bursts out of the body in full, caused by inhaling spores) and then the conventional xenomorph (from the face-hugger) There is also a mothership in orbit, so I presume that the story continues there. From what I recall, the Prometheus trailer was literally a "greatest hits" collection of the actual film and spoilered a great deal. The new movie is either rather sparse/dark like Alien or they are intentionally keeping the other set pieces under wraps.
May 4, 20178 yr https://www.msn.com/fr-fr/divertissement/story/alien-covenant-teaser-muthur-vo/vi-BBAK8no?refvid=BBA1C69&pfr=1 There is obviously some sort of hide and seek battle between the people and the aliens on the mothership
May 6, 20178 yr This ongoing comic book series has some information about the future path for Aliens http://viewcomic.com/aliens-defiance-06-of-12-2016/ It's clear that they re-designed the alien (from face-hugger) from the little tadpole to a four legged, violent creature.

May 9, 20178 yr Awesome footage! the reviews largely conclude that this movie is better than Prometheus- which I also liked. It also centers on David much more, and go into explaining why he behaved as he did in the first movie.
May 10, 20178 yr Oh wow!!! the Engineer did speak= they should have kept it in the movie what if Scott ends all his films with David in the Space Jockey costume at the beginning of Alien ? wouldn't that be rad?
May 11, 20178 yr SO MANY SPOILERS 75% Average Rating: 6.3/10 Reviews Counted: 108 Fresh: 81 Rotten: 27 lol Fox is really pushing covenant
May 19, 20178 yr The film shares ideas from: http://readcomiconline.to/Comic/Aliens-Labyrinth/Issue-1?id=53330 It's also one of the best Alien comic shorts (top 10 IMHO)
May 20, 20178 yr Saw Alien : Covenant, my only anticipated movie of the year Like Prometheus and Avatar, it's: filled with structural issues but visually it's fine, it's creative enough, and I'm glad that it is made. 7 out of 10 The writing falls flat (amateurish writing, literally something an aspiring screenwriter in their early 20s would write) with contrivances and weak characters), it's not scary and there's no tension but the CGI, environs, and tech is just well polished and easy to watch. The Alien/Engineer biological concept does not really advance very much. David's character is written in a very pretentious and rather amateurish way as well invoking Wagner, Ozy from Watchmen, and Nietzsche but without any depth- he comes across as a clown CGI, props, and environs are good and worth watching just like the original Prometheus. However, it doesn't have the same freshness/feeling of discovery/mystery as the first film. (8 out of 10 for Prometheus) Fans of the original will not be happy to see how A:C doesn't really tie up much in the way of loose ends. But at the same time, it doesn't make that many new ones either.
May 22, 20178 yr Some thoughts -The film vaguely invokes Frankenstein, The Tempest, and Ozy. Various Wagner pieces are played. -There is a scene where David misappropriates some of his quotes Symbolic? -Is David an analogue to Ridley Scott as a flawed director? If the first film was about David's curiosity, the second would be about his need to create. Entry to the Gods to Valhalla is played at the end
