I totally hate internet. Just a few years back we had no business knowing how animal fur/wool or ivory was obtained. But now, there's no way you cannot find out stuff like that with relative ease if you're curious. Ultimately you'd harbor a sense of guilt whether you're a consumer or someone who likes fashion
