Looks like Mel is always having fun and likes to travel.  I'm guessing she gets invited to attend all the fashion events as a way for high fashion to promote through social media influencers.  You see her at the red carpets and attending but never, or rarely on the runways, so I imagine she does get some financial compensation for attending all the events.  I think her next phase would be to be in high fashion editorials like Vogue, Bazaar, Vanity Fair, etc. if she's going to expand her modelling career.  Just my 8 cents (adjusted for inflation 😛).
