It’s one of the hottest events of the movie industry, and the Venice Film Festival was a little extra sexy today (September 1) thanks to Bar Refaeli.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model looked amazing in a low-cut black jumpsuit as she arrived for the premiere of “Carnage.”

Bar was more than happy to show off her posing prowess on the red carpet outside of the Palazzo del Cinema before heading inside to catch the screening.

Bar Refaeli steals the limelight in lace jumpsuit at Carnage premiere in Venice

She has been demonstrating exactly why she is a Sports Illustrated cover girl soaking up the sunshine in Italy.

And today Bar Refaeli stole the spotlight as she attended the premiere of Carnage at the Venice Film Festival this evening.

The model looks simply stunning in a low cut black jumpsuit which boasted lace detailing and a series of buttons up her torso.

And given her great genes Bar needed little makeup opting for a little golden glow on her cheeks light brown smokey eyes and pale pink lips.

Teaser: we met Bar Refaeli in Venice and here are some snapshots, waiting for our fashion video to be released soon on vogue.it

We had a great time with Bar Refaeli, Israeli top model and ex fiancée of Leonardo Di Caprio, during her stay in Venice.

In the frescoed rooms of Palazzo Widmann (where Casanova lived for many years) she tried a few outfits for our video cameras and finally decided for a Pucci jumpsuit (and Ferragamo shoes+bag) for tonight's Carnage red carpet.

This is an interesting change of pace for Israeli model, as I’m so used to seeing her in mini dresses.

Thanks bigmax and katchitup for more pictures of Bar in her Emilio Pucci pantsuit! The smile, the hair, no enormous or flashy jewels or heavy makeup. Bar is the perfect example of how simplicity and authenticity can rhyme with feminity, grace and elegance. I have noticed with all recent pictures that she never separates from her "love ring". She's been wearing it for months.

Bar must have been very busy because her twitter was quiet all day yesterday.
