Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds – Sexy couple in Green Lantern

She is the hottest it-girl of the moment, he is the sexiest man alive. You can watch them together in Green Lantern. Which is a reason for STARS to fly to LA and talk about mister Reynolds sixpack and Blakes attempts to feed him fat.

Why were you guys glad to play in yet another superhero movie?

Blake: When I was a young girl I watched every superhero-movie coming out in theaters, and my biggest wish was to be a superhero myself. There are just not much comicbook-movies in which the woman is just as cool as the man. Usually it’s only about how long our legs and how big our boobs are, but in Green Lantern it’s different. My character Carol is a real kick ass girl, who can easily beat her boyfriend.

Ryan: I said yes because it was the first time in my life someone asked me to play a superhero. Until now no one thought I was cool enough, but becoming Sexiest Man Alive changed everything, I finally fit in, haha!

How is it the be the sexiest man alive?

Ryan: Secretly I think it’s a little imbarassing, like life is only about having a sixpack. I never saw myself as the type of guy that makes ladies scream on the streets, and all the sudden people label you ‘sexy’, it’s bizar. My friends still don’t believe it, they think I [pay someone money to vote for you] the judges.

Blake: And that’s exactly what makes him so sexy. He’s not cocky or a slick who uses his looks to get girls.

Do you have a secret, Ryan?

Ryan: Except my penis? No, just kidding, I’m not going to say about myself what makes me sexy. I think woman like man who can joke about themselves, and I can do that. What do you think is sexy Blake?

Blake: I do like men who don’t take themselves to seriously. Nothing is more tiring than the Hollywood-types who look in the mirror all day because they think they are so hot. I choose humor over looks, and yes, in that aria you are fine with Ryan.

Blake, we heard you we trying to seduce Ryan with your cooking skills?

Blake: Sabotage is a better word. That man has such a perfect body, it’s just not fair anymore. I’m the girl in the movie, and I’m supposed to look better, but no one can beat Ryan’s body. That’s why I went to bake him cupcakes to get him fat. No one can resist my cooking-skills…

Ryan: Other actors will co for cocain and guns, but I chose Blake Lively’s cooking! It’s very mean, ‘cuz I trained for a year to get in this shape and Blake ruined it within a week with her heavenlish cupcakes.

I Hollywood every man is supposed to have a sixpack and a girl size zero. Do you feel that pressure too?

Ryan: For a movie like this you have to be in super-shape otherwise you won’t play a believable superhero. But luckily I got more than enough time to work on my body, and I take that extremely serious. They don’t pay me to show a beer-belly. But when I don’t shoot a movie, I don’t think about my body that much. After we finished shooting GL, I spend a month on my couch with fast-food and beer.

Blake: I hate working out and love food, so I’m not the prototype Hollywood-girl. Ofcourse I do get to the gym when I have to be in shape for a role, but I will never be someone who wakes up at six to work out. Until now I’m lucky to not gain weight fast, but I’m afraid I have to start within a few years, to keep the weight of.

How do you feel about the paparazzi? Blake, nowadays you’re getting more attention than Brad and Angelina?

Ryan: I don’t feel for the paparazzi, I made it a sport to bother them as much as possible. What I do in my private life, and with who I’m doing that is not of anyones business. I don’t understand how celebrities can sell their complete wedding to a magazine, a personal thing like that is not to share with the whole world, right?Blake: I don’t look for them either, but unfortunaly they are looking for me. I once decided not to talk about my relationships and I don’t go to the cool clubs where you have to go to be seen as a celeb. But those dudes even show up when I’m on a vacation. Even when I check in on a different name, they are still able to find me, it’s super annoying.

Do you have to be disciplined to make it into Hollywood?

Ryan: Absolutely, I’ve been working so hard for the last few years, that’s my personal life is almost suffering. Being an actor is not something you can do for half, you have to give up everything and be very disciplined, otherwise others will take your roles. You also have to be strong, and don’t break when you get burned down at yet another disappointing adition.

Blake: Everyone thinks all we actors do is hang on set and walk on parties, but it’s really a tough job! I make days from 5 in the morning ‘till ten in the evening, and when I even go to a party, it’s mostly to network, not to get drunk.

You both had to overcome a big fear for this movie, right?

Ryan: Yeah, I’m very scared to fly. I avoid commercial flights as much as possible because I heard about drunk pilots in the cockpit. For this movie I had to fly myself, hanging on a little cable. On day three already a was pulled into they air –without an adult diaper- and a had to overcome my fear. Luckily I could do it pretty fast and after a few days a asked them if the couldn’t fly me to my hotel after a day of work.

Blake: I had to dive into a cage in between sharks, my biggest nightmare ever! I hated those animals, I thought they were disguisting and mean. But eventually I got over it, and I discovered that they are beautiful beings. Those sharks are more afraid of us than the other way around, and by cause of humans they are on their way to become extinct, which just breaks my heart…

Ryan: Moral of the story; we should cuddle more sharks.

Green Lantern got you both your own puppets, how cool is that?

Ryan: It’s every man’s dream.

Blake: I really thought it was supercool, and I wanted to go out and buy Barbie’s magical fantasyhouse to play with myself all day. Uhh.. That sounds a little strange, does it? Next question.

Is it true you were fighting to get the best trailer on set?

Ryan: Ofcourse, I had the party trailer, a real men-bunk.

Blake: Please, come on.

Ryan: I even made my own grass lawn.

Blake: Onto my trailer there was a magical yellow road, like in the Wizard of Oz, and in front of my door stood yellow slippers with [diamond-ish stones]

Ryan: Blake had her own Malibu-Barbie Dreamhouse.

Blake: I think we should have voted who had the best trailer?

Ryan: I win! I had cocktails!

Paparazzi... love them, hate them but can't live without them. Here is an excerpt from an interview she did over the summer, it is a double edged when it comes to paps:

One of the downsides to fame is that she has become the focus of paparazzi. The latest gossip swirling the internet has linked her with Leonardo DiCaprio after a picture of them walking in Italy was taken last weekend. A couple of months ago the rumour mill had her attached to Ryan Gosling. It seems that life is imitating art as tongues get wagging on every occasion she is out with a beau, no matter what the nature of their relationship.

The actress became single when she broke up with her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley last October. Her representatives shot down rumours that the romance was back on last month. So it’s a surprise that Lively is not as damning on the paparazzi as one might expect. It’s hard to complain about gossip when it’s the modus operandi of her show. She says: “It makes sense to draw parallels between the show and what goes on in my real life. The characters on the show are somewhat famous in the world that they inhabit and they make stuff up and people are documenting what they do all the time and so being in the tabloids no doubt helps keep our ratings high, and if we don’t like it, I’m sure our producers don’t mind.”

The paparazzi do overstep the mark on occasion and Lively has her share of horror stories, recounting how she was happy that photos of her on vacation only appeared after she returned home, as to have known photographers were watching her would have ruined her break, and how paparazzi will pay off customs to find out what hotel she’s staying in.

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” starlet carried her dog Penny back to her trailer after arriving a little late for her call time.

As for her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio, there are rumors churning around the gossip mill that they’re in talks to move in together.

In fact, one unconfirmed claim stated, "Blake and Leo are looking into buying an NYC love nest together. They are really happy right now (and have pondered) creating a home together."
