LuNo Posted June 28, 2008 Share Posted June 28, 2008 ACTOR Hugh Jackman is to get his own star on the Hollywood Walk of FameThe Australian was one of 25 stars named to have their names engraved on a star on Hollywood Boulevard's famous pavement next year, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee announced today. Joining Jackman in the motion picture category are: Tim Burton, Leslie Caron, Cameron Diaz, Robert Downey Jr, Charles Durning, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley and William H Macy, the Associated Press reported.Television stars were: Felicity Huffman, John Stamos, Chuck Lorre, William Petersen, Kyra Sedgwick and Mark Burnett. In the recording category were Kenny "Baby Face" Edmonds, Dave Koz, The Miracles, Doug Morris, RUSH, Shakira and The Village People were chosen for the 2009 honour. Bill Handel and Harry Shearer - who provide voices for characters on The Simpsons including Mr Burns and Ned Flanders - are also getting stars.
