November 22, 200915 yr Thank you Reeyo that is definitely one of my favourite editorials from Du Juan ever..! Bailey finally did something different on Du and it is draw dropping But i hate. hate. hate. that cover... Du's face- exquisite as usual- but why did they style her with frizzy hair, weird light and that raggedy top?? They make her look like some crazy cat lady peering up from some dark alley. i hope to see more work like this with Du

December 5, 200915 yr Du Juan Does Beauty For The PeopleDecember 1, 2009 12:13 pm While it has become a bona fide trend for big-name catwalkers—Amber Valletta, Jessica Stam, Coco Rocha, et al.—to lend their names and hands to fashion labels these days, Du Juan is daring to be different. The Chinese-born ballerina-turned-supermodel has allied herself with Yue-Sai Cosmetics to bring a two-piece beauty range to the market, just in time for the holidays. The Shooting Star collection, which includes a 24K Gold Face & Body Sparkle and an Eye Shadow Quad, is an homage of sorts to the magic that can happen in the makeup artist’s chair. In fact, the idea for the Face & Body Sparkle came from a shoot Du Juan recently did in Paris where photographer Camilla Akrans sprinkled flecks of gold onto her face for a shimmer effect. It’s branded as her “gift to Chinese women,” but American beauty junkies could potentially benefit from the present, too; there is talk about bringing the limited-edition series stateside next year.
