Doutzen was very well in Vogue Germany, it's 5 covers and a Special, generally models that are from countries that have their own Vogue have more Vogues from their home country than others, Doutzen has more Vogue Japan and Netherland, that's great!
June 8, 20186 yr I saw this David post and he tagged Trish Goff who was with Doutzen in Africa, Doutzen commented in the photo saying she can't wait and he tagged Jamie Hawkesworth. So if it was Jamie who photographed in Africa, we'll probably have a WSJ shoot or cover. And speaking of David, I sent a message to him and Sarah asking them to do their best and possible for Doutzen to have different shoots by different photographers (Tim Walker, Paolo Roversi, Arthur Elgort), I asked for a Vogue UK cover and Chanel show! Unfortunately I don't know if they will read, but I hope so and that they do everything they can to make it happen. Today is Arthur Elgort's birthday, I congratulated him and asked for a shoot with Doutzen, I did the same on Paolo's Instagram, but he didn't use Instagram frequently! Let's pray!

June 12, 20186 yr Mille Backer .... it is not really necessary to post every Instagram pic ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- She probably has only 2 Vogue Paris covers because; 1) Did not sell well 2) Received negative reactions 3) Emmanuele Alt (edior-in-chief) lost interest - Vogue Paris 2007 cover : Girls hated her because she posed hand in hand with the hottest it boy from France (crazy but true) I love this cover from 2007 ... but it would be better if they used a different hairstyle and/or showed her whole head - Vogue Paris 2012 cover : Uncomfortable shot. This is probably shot while she jumped and it looked weird, hair unfinished ... looked like a behind-the-scenes pic Now it looks as if she can't pose while jumping .. but that's not true She can make a flawless picture while jumping Vogue Japan 2013

I think Doutzen sells well, otherwise she would not have as many Vogues as she has, because she isn't the favorite model of any editor or photographer to be in one and the same publication as often as other models... Publishers have to take in consideration that the worse the cover, the worse the sales. The cover of 2007 isn't horrible but not beautiful, the cover of 2012 yes, it so bad and I think they chose her as a cover just to sell well, because only she had one photo inside magazine pages. I saw the Vogue Paris sales in 2017 and I think it sells more and better by who is on the cover than if cover is good or bad, but if you combine a person who sells well with a beautiful cover, obvious that sales will be better , like the Gisele case that had the best selling cover of 2017, beating Rihanna (for obvious reasons has a bigger name than Gisele, but not in fashion). Valentina (Brazilian transexual model) cover was one of the least sold and the cover is beautiful in my opinion and one of the best of 2017, Rianne cover was the one that sold the least, because for me she is still a little unknown to general public and the cover was ugly!
