May 2, 20178 yr Quote Inside the 2017 Met Gala  After the red carpet, A-listers made their way inside the Met Gala for cocktails and, of course, more photos. From left, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls, Adriana Lima and Behati Prinsloo.   Landon Nordeman for The New York Times
May 2, 20178 yr I feel sorry for Doutzen because it wasn't her decision or fault for that dress. She had to wear it and unfortunately they gave her the ugly one, but she is always beautiful, even in this disaster.Â
May 2, 20178 yr Hey Jomm ... How do you know that?  Her agency is blind They (her team) all rely on her flawless face because if u photoshop her face away and change it with a different face there would be nothing worth looking at  Doutzen is one of the very few who almost didnt get any attention in the media This would have been a perfect opportunity to make headlines in the media with your look because there is so much media for this event .. but the team behind this look just failed  Â

Others, no matter how famous, have to accept what designers give them, Doutzen probably got short end of the stick and had to wear this ugly dress.
May 3, 20178 yr Umm, she could easily choose a beautiful dress!! Â There's no any rule she have to wear THIS or THAR designer from THIS or THAT collection. Why not she pick a Versace dress? ANY. Or something from Ralph Lauren? Â Â Comeon. She choose this dress and thats the end of the topic.

Designers choose which celebrities they want to dress. Versace chose Kylie Jenner et al. Chanel chose Lily-Rose Depp, Cara Delevingne et al. Doutzen was invited by Brock Collection so she had to wear one of their designs.

Designers can choose which one of them they want to dress up. ANYWAY have few beautiful dresses as well...............   (last season for example)

So if for some reason, Anna Wintour hadn’t approved of Doutzen, Brock Collection would have had to pick another person.  I doubt Doutzen got a personal invite. She was invited by the label just like Balmain invited her last year.
May 3, 20178 yr Doutzen Kroes enjoyed a New York walk on Wednesday with her DJ husband Sunnery Gorré and their two children, six-year-old son Phyllon and two-year-old daughter Myllen dailymail.co.uk  Â
