More to come later...

WOW ... good work! I can hardly wait for the other parts!

Nicely done, roxana!

And thanks for the scans, Pink! The first one and third one are definitely two of my favorite Marisa pics ever. For anyone interested (for file naming, I guess), the months of her scans go cover, Feb. 2010, Feb. 'o9, Jan. 'o9, and Jan. 2010.

^^It's exactly what it looks like. There are days when I tend to have these "brain lapses" and its on those days when I actually show my appreciation for other people's contributions....... ;)

I just have one question, PC: When you brighten your scans, is that supposed to be a signature "style" of yours? Everyone knows that my "style" is to place my honkey watermark on the bottom of my stuff, but is that how you do your own?

^ You should have brain lapses more often :nicole:

Another member here said my scans are always "glowy" and I have no clue what she is talking about :idk: When I look at jal's scans they also look "glowy." Perhaps the definition of "glowy" is subjective.

Even without your huge "watermark" (if you can even call it that :cain: ) I could still tell if something is your scan. I don't think it is b/c they are all UHQ but that is certainly one of your signatures. Something about it is very "you." I guess it applies to me as well. All I really do is Windex my scanner. I think I've Windexed it too much b/c water have gotten into the it  I also use Swiffer paper to wipe the image and I paint over the dust particles. That's pretty much it

@Pink: Let's not talk about me, let's talk about YOU. I really do think that using liquid cleaners on your scanner are a definite no-no. With the previous scanner I was using, I would always use those desk wipes or Pledge. Over time, the scans I made started to have a "green-ish" residue color to it and that's when I just threw that piece of crap scanner away. From there, I started using static-free wipers.

Stop using those liquid cleaners and buy yourself a static-free wipe. If you don't know what that is, a static-free wipe is used to clean eyeglasses/sunglasses. They absorb dust and clean off any fingerprints, leaving a shiny surface without using any liquids. A few swipes over the scanner surface and the whole thing is totally clean.

You will definitely start to notice a big difference in your scans without all that dust or hidden residue. I certainly did with mine. So get rid of the liquids and use the static-free instead. Wow, I sound like an infomercial.

^ Come again??? You want to talk about ME??? :| Either you are on some mad crack

(hook me up! jk)

or you have taken The Vamp and held him captive. If it is the latter, feel free to keep him...rofl...jk...jk... :shifty:

Static-free wipe like...??? :idk:

Speaking of infomercials, I heard the ShamWow guy got busted for getting into a fight w/ a prostitute

Anyways, back on topic :D ...
