March 8, 201312 yr ooooohhhweeeeee!!!!thanks, PinkCouture!! just watched the episode. Naomi is RUTHLESS. truth be told, i actually prefer Stephanie to Madeleine, as well. but only in video and on the show. in photos her inexperience really shows through and it's evident that she's the weaker link. Madeleine is pretty but pretty forgettable. however she always delivers in her photoshoots. so she's the more learned model. but she doesn't have that *spark* that Stephanie has. either way - Naomi, in her own words, says that she chose to keep Stephanie BECAUSE she was the "weaker girl" and thus easier competition. hahaa. she's a tyrant!! i love this show. KK needs to stop playing so nice, though. she needs to be more firm and get a bit of a backbone when it comes to leading the campaign shoots and also when talking with Naomi or Coco. but, then again - she IS a lovely person. that's just her nature. and that's part of why we all love her so much. so mayhaps it's best that she stays the way she is. stays true to herself. i feel like clearly someone on Team Naomi is going to win. each time they have one of these campaigns, you can tell that the representatives for the company are themselves completely intimidated by her. haha.
March 8, 201312 yr A couple of her Galliano shows 2:26 I wish The Face would include actual footage of KK, Naomi, and Coco's in runway, editorial, and campaigns highlight their expertise. I thought, for instance, that the episode with the bridal runway could have easily incorporated footage of KK from her one of Elie Saab shows or her opening of that Versace or the Dior Couture show in 2004. I'm of course biased though Perhaps they avoid including footage for legal issues/complications.
March 12, 201312 yr omg, Saudade!! you are making me LIIIIVE with these runway videos!!! i cannot thank you enough for posting them and especially for taking the time to note when KK makes her appearance. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!the s/s 2001 shows are so interesting, because it would've taken place in fall of 2000, when she was just 16 years old. such a baby!! and her face is such a baby face! and she was still a bit awkward in her walk. it was still great, obviously, but not the smooth, graceful strut she mastered by the s/s 2002 shows. and those scrawny, spindly, spaghetti stick legs are hilarious! haha. she's just soooo young!! wow. such a treat to see! please post more as you find them! so fun to watch!
March 13, 201312 yr No problem, Happycanadian I love finding all of these videos of her and other models that came out around that time. I can't think of one major fashion house that she hasn't walked for, which cannot be said for even most top models/supermodels She definitely looks young but at the same time somehow womanly. I can see why no one at VS knew that she had just turned 16 for the 2000 show.
