Jen doesn`t have Barbara`s self confidence to accept her natural looks, what mother nature gave her. her nose proves that, so that comparison between them is ridiculous to me, Barbara was always proud of her "bumpy nose".

That's right. Barbara was completely in charge of herself, regardless of the critics. She was aware of her imperfections, but always worked them to the positive...as she often looked very beautiful..

Both of you are right. Remember, however, that both actresses are from different eras. Barbara's nose has become her trademark. There were not too many actresses in her times so talent eclipsed appearance. And Jennifer - You know what was her life with her mother who humiliated her. At the top is now the cult of beautiful bodies and eternal youth that's why she did nose job not because of vanity. How many blond actresses we have today ? Plenty. Both women are different and have a different repertoire of accomplishments. You can not compare them.

In conclusion - Barbara is an icon, Jennifer is amazing and I still hate Angelina

Hah! Me too! But I have to say, yes, there were that many actresses back then. You just havent'd heard of them. Nor was there any plastic surgeons who could re-do your face. Actresses dealt with it and even capitalized on their looks. Barbara's nose became her trademark because she was stuck with it, people got used to it, and she still overcame by her talent. As far as Jennifer goes, whether she was pressured by her mother, or by her fans, it's still vanity. Not to say that's wrong, it's just that in a business like she's in, vanity is neccesary.
