Posted September 18, 200519 yr So, I'm looking for a guitar. Because I want to play the guitar. I am thinking either an electric Fender or Gibson. What would you recommend?
September 18, 200519 yr Author hmm, scratch that... but thank you for the suggestion, i love that model too.
September 19, 200519 yr Try looking for something else other than Fender or Gibson. There are a lot of good guitars that won't cost you an arm and a leg. But will play as good as Fender or Gibson.
September 19, 200519 yr he is very right...i just wanted a les paul badily which is why i got one....i used to have an ibanez acoustic that i loved and i have another guitar...spanish guitar....cant remember the name of it thought, great guitar....both of my acoustics were under 500 bucks
September 20, 200519 yr Well, I'm using a Wechter Pathmaker... http://www.wechterguitars.com/models/model-9100.htm It's a local thing. I like it. It had a scratch on it so they sold it to my parents for about $600. They're normally about $2500, I think. I've only been playing for about a month though.
September 20, 200519 yr and if your beginning i suggest getting an acoustic first....dont jump into electric right away........my cousin wanted to play guitar so he went and got an electric....lets just say the only time it gets played is when im at his house and thats a rare occasion

September 28, 200519 yr Acoustic is cool!http://spikedhumor.com/articles/339/Pulp_F...Egg_Beater.html
September 30, 200519 yr i also own a gib les paul classic. round 1800. I bought a Cort acoustic guitar. i never had to buy another acoustic guitar again, this thing is amazing. Plays good (for me anyway), sounds amazing, and the electronics in it, are fairly decent. I picked mine up for round 400 with a case. Id recommend Cort, i own 2 cort guitars and probally my best guitars.
March 18, 200619 yr Use the stiffest picks you can find. You don't want it to bend much at all. I like 1.5 MM plastic ones... like Yngwie Malmsteen uses.
