Back in the mid-1980, Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue was only one section, rather than an entire standalone issue as it would become later.  If it had been expanded then, IMO among my top choices for supermodels who should have been added are Frederique van der Wal and Kirsten Allen, who both had the "Healthy, natural curves" plus beautiful faces look that epitomized its 1980s swimsuit issues.

You are welcome and I totally agree with you about Sport's Illustrated. I wondered why they didn't include Kirsten and Frederique on the swimsuit issues. It is also another mystery why Kirsten wasn't in Victoria's Secret catalogs of the time.
