I have to cover insurance for myself, my wife and daughter. My insurance covers medical, dental and vision. I am only covered for $1000 yearly in dental and there is a $6000 deductible on medical. With all the talk about affordable health care. This is what it looks like for my family. In my opinion, the Republicans need to quit worrying about dismantling everything that Obama touched and work on fixing what's wrong with the healthcare system. That also means working with the democrats to put something together that everyone can get behind. The Democrats need to quit talking about how bad the Republican plan is and figure out how to help put a plan together that improves our current health care system. Almost every other country around the world has figured out universal health care. The argument here is that it would be too expensive. Look at my paycheck. How much worse can it really be? I'm not screaming on tv, I'm not bashing one side or the other. I am one of millions of Americans that are trying to survive in the disappearing Middle Class. Please, politicians on both sides, put aside your petty differences and greed. Do the job you were elected to do. Help and protect the people of your country. Remember, you are Public Servants. Help us. Thank you. Personally it's shocking seeing the huge difference in America vs Canada, though America has so many things we don't get, we never will get and won't have things such as this bring it back into perspective for myself. Talking to the couple of american's I know the wage scales just flabbergast me for the same work in Canada vs America, as well as health care and other things that get taken for granted up here. It really brings me back to earth when I see shit like this from my friends and family or online and reminds me it's always important to know what you have because chances are you're gonna be better off than majority of the people but don't be a cocky shit about it (as I know i've made a few intensive comments to other people about wage and money etc.. that I apologised right away for after realising what I had said) Dunno why for the rant, just felt like saying it Quote

I can honestly count 20-30 I know/met that have given me one if not all of those excuses and you see the same online. The people that do differ and have informed opinions on it make good points about what makes it a good show but honestly they are few and far between in my experience. Plus, I see more and more people now just watching it cause everyone else does so they wanna be happy in the herd and carry on their happy little lives so they don't feel left out from their friends and have something in common to talk about. Honestly, GoT the fandom is more a take on modern society being so scared to not go with the norm when every major outlet everywhere watches it and the drones sound the same as each other Counter: Breaking Bad was similar (I personally love Breaking Bad) in the way people flocked to it and sang it's praises yet putting aside the personal feelings for the show, the feel was different there wasn't this huge obsession to the point of insanity as GoT has where if you did not like Breaking Bad you were "a terrible person who has no taste and clearly can't appreciate good TV" , even the most basic of Breaking Bad followers generally had some form of an indepth reason why they liked it, not just CAUSE MY BUDDY FRED SAID IT WAS GOOD SO IT HAS TO BE GOOD AND I WILL WATCH IT BECAUSE SOMEONE TOLD ME SO, though there were mindless cretins such as that too Just less of them Quote

The small amount I have posted here about TV and movies is essentially the totality of my discussions of TV and movies. I'm also glad that I have had little to no experience with people like you described, and I can think of none I speak with in person. Quote

There’s still going to be an emphasis on milk, cheese and yogurt, but it won’t be its own food group maybe. We don’t know for sure.” The draft guide also indicates a shift away from animal-based foods by placing an emphasis on lentils and other sources of protein. The public consultation process began last fall and will close July 25. The new Food Guide materials will be published next year.
