Posted July 1, 200915 yr The Best Runway ShowHow do you think it should be done? How many rounds should there be?There could be a Ready-to-Wear, Couture, Victoria's Secret and minor (pre-fall & resort) and then an overall? Or something by f/w and s/s-which would only apply to couture and ready-to-wear? And do you want to do a bunch of little rounds within the two options above too then go to over-all-like best makeup, hair, set, lighting, music, accessories, opening, closing?Just post how you think it should go down.Personally I think it should just be by seasons with couture and ready to wear.
July 1, 200915 yr well i think they should be non-VS. Since post 2000-ish VSFS aren't really fashion shows. Maybe there should be like best swimsuit, most glamorous, best line-up, best runway music, just some ideas
July 1, 200915 yr Author Yeah I'm not sure there should be a VS show either. I think it should just be the over-all show, but I'll provide info on the other things. It's easier that way, because if a show wins Best Makeup but nothing else, there's nothing we can really do about it, if that makes sense. And sorry, i don't think I can do swimwear because not all shows have a swimsuit. But that's a cool idea for another competition that I might be willing to run. I kinda have it sorted out. I think I'll post a video, with info on the lineup and a picture of the opening and closing outfit. And I'll also provide links to the Details and full collection slideshow. But when you're putting out nominations, Make sure there's a full youtube video! We need to see the show, not just the collection. I just need to know how much voting time there should be and how many shows. If there were 32 shows in total that would mean there'd be 8 s/s rtw, 8 f/w rtw, 8 s/s couture and 8 f/w couture. Do you think that's enough, or do you think it should be 16 per section (i.e., 16 s/s rtw) with 64 shows in general?

Well, when could we begin the nominations? PS: Just to tell you, I do not know how to make the difference between s/s rtw, f/w, s/s couture and f/w couture! Actually, I even don't know what it means!
July 1, 200915 yr Author Oh haha-style.com should hep you (and me)-they label all the shows ready-to-wear, couture (only for some designers), pre-fall and resort (but we're only using ready-to-wear and couture). You can start nominating at anytime-just PM me the Season and the label (i.e., Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, etc.) Please try to make it Spring/Summer Ready-to-Wear! If you go on style.com, look up the label and click the Designer Directory and look through the shows' profiles. There must also be a Style.com Profile of the show as well! We need a better look at the collection, details and the lineup-and Style provides the quickest and easiest way.But I have to know how much voting time there should be and how many shows per section!
July 1, 200915 yr Author You need to pay for firstview, but yes, I can use tFS, but Style is quicker and easierNominations have started-I guess we'll do 16 per sectionA full nomination:Must have a Full Youtube video showMust have a complete collection slideshow on style.com, unless you see something on tFS that's completeMust have a Details/Beauty Section on style.comOk, I have 1 full Fall/Winter RTW nomination

Start People!!!
July 2, 200915 yr Author Uh, whoops I made a little mistake Lilso, they weren't full nominations. I need full nominations and the BCBG one didn't have a full show and the Betsey Johnson one didn't have a video at all. But if we really need an extra spot, we could use the BCBG one I need to redo this: Best Ready-to-Wear: Spring/Summer 16/16 spots open Best Ready-to-Wear: Fall/Winter: 14/16 spots open Spot 1: D & G Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear 2006/2007 (nominated by lilso78) Spot 2: Versace Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear 2006/2007 (nominated by michelabella) Best Couture: Spring/Summer: 16/16 Spots Open Best Couture: Fall/Winter: try to wait until Couture week is over and Youtube videos are up 16/16 Spots Open
