August 11, 200618 yr I didn't say he was. I meant it more as someone who could take a team to a higher level. They haven't brought in a player that did that since Cantona. I never said you said he was I doubt he can bring the team to a higher level. What would he contribute that would make him any better than, say Horseface or something?
August 11, 200618 yr Adriano is staying..Recoba and Martins are leaving. And Grosso, Maicon and Maxwell of course This is your season! Inter won Serie A (albeit by default) Italy won the WC Inter are buying some good players. If they don't win Serie A this season, they will officially suck But maybe they can win the Champions League

Horseface relied to much on service the last two seasons. He hardly ever seems to create a goal for himself any more. (Something he still could pull off from time to time earlier in his career). Adriano didn't have the greatest of season, but like Cantona he can win games all by himself if he's in good form. And his presence seemed to inspire his Inter teammates. On the other hand, I doubt he would ever reach the cult status of Cantona. (Then again, no one probably ever will again and Man U).

Horseface still whipped in 17 goals last season and considering he didn't play the last quarter of the season I'd say that's pretty good. Adriano can create goals because of his powerful shots, but he hasn't been in good form for a while. Hell he stuffed up hard in the World Cup. Don't know why Fred and Robinho weren't played <_< Anyway, back on topic - he's staying with Inter :|
August 11, 200618 yr And Inter winning the CL well it is Gocho's year, so I'm not ruling anything out
August 11, 200618 yr Highlights of a game of Cruijff's Barca Dream-team Just had to share this. That turn that Romario makes at the end is just sick!
August 11, 200618 yr Inter still won't the scudetto this year, even though Milan has -8 points, I still think they are the favorite to win And Inter winning the CL What will Inter's starting XI look like this year? I'll bookmark this post
August 12, 200618 yr I would talk some smack, but my team Club Brugge doesn't have a chance at either the title or the CL this year.
