July 27, 200618 yr I see you haven't many females here, i thought i'll keep a company I see you mostly like italian clubs well my fave club is FC Bayern My fave player is Philipp Lahm, he plays in Germany's team too I'm sad that Ballack moved to Chelsea, i don't think his career will rise there... I don't like Chelsea, they are so boring jeeeez BTW yeah i know it's a bit late just i wanted to ask which team you supported in World cup, i supported Germany and Portugal, i'm rather glad how they appeared in this World cup.I'm glad Italy won in the final just not glad that they won in the semi-final lol What team do you think I was cheering for? I like Lahm, he impresed me a lot in the WC (Y) Do you live in Germany?
July 28, 200618 yr Liverpool need a really great striker than can score 35-40. (In all competitions off course!) Henry doesn't even score that much
July 28, 200618 yr Did Liverpool offically sign Kuijt? I know they were close but I haven't heard anything since Ya I noticed, there are a lot of teams now modeled after Sacchi's system now who else uses it? It's a great system. Now all we need is a Gullit, a Rijkaard and a van Basten correction: who else uses it to such devastating effect? and no, I don't think we've signed Kuijt yet, but we are signing Lazarus Christodopolous
July 28, 200618 yr RE: Finding Rhett a team. Dude... Arsenal! I'm serious. You're French! They're French! don't pick your team why? I don't understand the reasoning behind this one can't be an overwhelming favorite well, they aren't anymore can't have a huge money advantage over their league peers They've created a team of champions spending next to nothing. The only notable big money purchase lately has been Reyes for
July 28, 200618 yr Every team can use that but Liverpool really does need a good striker We have GOD!!! Anyway, we didn't have any good strikers in 2004/05 (I can edit this comment if you don't want to read it...)
July 28, 200618 yr reddy: the part about not picking your own team, is I just want to avoid the bias that we all have about how our team is so great as far as Arsenal... that might be tough, since most of my soon-to-be-coworkers despise Arsenal. so it would be an adversarial position for sure... not sure how good of an idea that would be around people that I'm going to be fighting for a living I did watch the whole CL this year, and was impressed with their defense. and I guess I could always steal Tweedy while Cole is on the field...

Cheryl but Arsenal are a weird team. My first impression of their playing style along the lines of 'this team plays a very continental style. They should dominate Europe but not be so dominant in the EPL" That didn't exactly happen... <_< They concede goals like crazy, and the one time they go to the finals and put in good performances, they break Milan's defensive record  They shared SO MANY similarities with Liverpool, but then they had to claim 4th spot on the last day of the season and support Arsenal! When you get promoted you can rub it in your cow-orkers' faces!
July 28, 200618 yr Liverpool need a really great striker than can score 35-40. (In all competitions off course!) Henry doesn't even score that much Yes he does. Henry has scored 30-40 goals a season in all competitions for the past five years: Season Goals 2001-02 32 2002-03 32 2003-04 39 2004-05 30 2005-06 33 (But he did only break past the 35 mark once) RVN also broke past 35 several times. (He even still managed 30 this season, despite being benched for a lot of the second half of the season). Edited July 28, 200618 yr by SympathysSilhouette
July 28, 200618 yr RVN off to Real Madrid. I hadn't thought about this, but this means that they have two real strikers left: Saha and Rooney. Technically Solskjaer and Smith are strikers too, but they have mostly played in midfield the last two seasons. That shouldn't be enough for a club of their stature. The Carrick move might be the best one since signing RVN. So it's not all bad news at Man U.
July 28, 200618 yr and no, I don't think we've signed Kuijt yet, but we are signing Lazarus Christodopolous Who is Lazarus Christodopolous?

Anyway, we didn't have any good strikers in 2004/05 (I can edit this comment if you don't want to read it...) It was a fluke Who are Liverpool's strikers as of now? There is Crouch, Bellamy, and GOD that's all I can think of They would be so much better with a Trezeguet
July 28, 200618 yr Not in the way they imagined, I'm guessing. But beggars can't be chooser. I thought Moratti said he was only going to buy Italians this off-season They bought: Maxwell, Dacourt, Maicon, and Grosso only one is italian, and Viera is suppose to go too
