Has she done any recent runway shows?  I didn't see her in any of the 2005 Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer shows.

The only thing she's done recently as far as I know is the Luca Luca show which was last September.

Thanks, Ashley. I hadn't seen her in anything, so I was just curious. She's definitely more of a commercial model now than high-fashion, but she does great doing both.

You're welcome, everyone! :)

Neo, come on, you love me! The pictures are of Adriana Lima. Nah, you're welcome.

Agreed, but I feel like if she wanted to go back to doing more runway, she'd have to get like Hana Soukupova skinny. Which I would not prefer.

She doesn't need to anyway, definitely not from a financial standpoint.

Nah, I actually think she'll be able to do runway without a problem.

Agreed. She's not getting as heavy as everyone is making her out to be. I mean she has gained weight but she looks fantastic.

I actually don't think she gained that much weight at all. What I AM saying is look how much skinnier (not in an attractive way) she was earlier in her career when she was doing mostly runway work, and also look at the top runway models of today in comparison to her.

(see picture below) That's what's out there and that's what she'd be competing with. High fashion runway models have to be the thinnest of the thin. She's never really been one of the high fashion honeys, and IF she wanted to seriously get back into runway (I don't think she needs to, but this is a hypothetical situation) she would be competing with thinner mods of 16, 17, 18... (or even younger, as in the case of Gerren Taylor), and therefore would most likely have to lose weight to keep with the current trend, even as thin as she is now.

Would you like it if she had to start looking like this?

(btw I did not title this image..I got it from the Hana thread. I don't condone calling every skinny girl anorexic.)

Adriana will never look like that because she has never actually been skinny she's a perfect shape and has been since she was younger. So I doubt she will ever look like that seeing as she likes to eat which is great. So I don't think showing that photo will make any difference everyone has their own opinions I personally think she looks fantastic and has always looked fantastic and will continue to look fantastic and yes fantastic is my new favorite word of the day!
