OriginalSin
my hair goes just past my shoulders. i have light brown hair with naturally blonde highlights. it's thick, curly, and unfortunately frizzy. it looks best blow-dried straight or curly and wet. BlueEyedBaby
I have long brown hair. I cut like 4 inches off of it Tuesday, and no one noticed...They said it looked the same, but I guess that is what happens when you have long hair. Oh mine is natural wavy so it depends on how I dry it if it's straight or curly. But at the moment it's straight, because I used my chi on it last night. moiselles
I've been braiding my hair and putting it in a bun a lot lately. It looks pretty when I take it out of the braid, though.
Britt87
Hey-I'm kinda new here but I was hoping perhaps you girls could help me out with something. I'm currently booking an appt. to get my hair done for my Bro's wedding in early August. I'm in the bridal party and my sis-in-law pretty much gave me no restrictions on the hair thing so I was wondering if you guys had any ideas/pics, etc? Thanks for any help:-)

natalie
hey girls i have a question. can the natural hair dye damage your hair? i recently dyed my hair from like dark brown to darker brown. and i love this color but i dont want to damage my hair, go bald later, etc. (i heard rumors about the bald thing)

I know it dries it out but hair is pretty resilent. I hope it's not really bad cuz I've dyed my hair like-a ton. My aunt tho has been every color on the planet and she's in her 60s and has a full, thick head of hair so...
Sheyda
Natalie - It's not true. If it was, all the models in the world would be bald because they have so much done to their hair.
moiselles
I think dying it can dry out your hair, but I don't know about damage. I, personally, would never dye my hair ( until I go gray, of course ) because I like my natural color and getting it professionally dyed is too expensive.I have heard, however, that perms can really hurt your hair. Or at least the at-home perms do.
QueenS
My Hair is quite long.. Ive always had long hair. I did cut it though once , up to my shoulders. It looked ok but i prefer it long..
moiselles
It's hard to tell just how long it is because the picture is dark and so is your hair, but it is very pretty. I just got about a half an inch trimmed off my hair ( first time to get it trimmed/cut since January of 2004 ). It looks better and is still really long. Neo52285
ok so i am a guy and making a topic here...but i want to know how you girls deal with tangles....its killing me.
Sunset
Hey Neo, I've used No More Tangles Spray by Johnson's and it's worked pretty well on my long, thick, wavy, black hair. It's a good idea to wash you're hair after you use it though, because it can make your hair brittle if left on. Aside from that you just have to grit your teeth and pull lol Hope this helps a bit
Neo52285
you practically labeled my hair...long, thick and wavy and black....stupid tangles. my cousin wanted to straighten it for me.
