It was time to hit New York & Laurie had read about Eileen Ford’s legacy and wanted to be represented by “The Best.” In 1986 she signed with Eileen and Jerry Ford in New York who promptly took her into their home along with her cat, Whitney. Laurie graced the pages of American Vogue, Australian Vogue, French Elle, American Elle, American Harpars Bazaar and several Cosmopolitan covers.
