Pretty girl. The other pretty contestants were Miss Dauphine, Miss Flandre and Miss Pays de l'Ain. The only few countries that pick looks over intelligence are the ones that win all the time.(Venezuela, Puerto Rico etc.) India looks for intelligence more so the girls end up being very intelligent obviously, they have great personalities but are lacking in faces and body. That way you can have some outstanding contestants some time such as Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen but recently the intelligent ones haven't been beautiful. There is a rival contest(Gladrags) that happens at the same time and it emphasizes more on looks than personality and their contestants are usually much prettier and have better bodies. Also, Lara Dutta, Aishwarya Rai were discovered by Gladrags before they went on to enter Miss World.
Same here. Miss Iceland was among my favorites. Peru was my initial favorite as well but she didn't have the spark when she was at the pageant.
