Watching Disney lose money is a delight.

I don't agree with everything, but she's right on many points.
It's true that we often hear some women complain about high beauty standards in video games, but we never hear male complain about male beauty standards (even if the male characters' physique are as "unrealistic" as female's)

@Cult Icon You should try BG3, it's a great game.
I enjoy BG3 as much as the Witcher (even if it's quite different from the Witcher universe, they're both fantasy games)
-
@SympathysSilhouette at which part of the game are you in BG3?
I enjoy this game a lot. Paladin's gameplay is really the best. It's so versatile and enjoyable. I kept the romance with Shadowheart (even if I think Karlach is great as well - really kind-hearted and sweet with her pals, while being savage on the battlefield).
I found that characters became really better at level 5.
I like my parties to be with: my paladin character, Karlach, Shadowheart and Gale (or Wyll). But I try to bring the others as well.

I don't see how Elon is playing 4-D Chess TBH. He looks like he's just taking down something he disliked for a long time at a significant cost to himself and Tesla. Perhaps in his eyes it's worth it.
I've seen some analysts claiming it's a big plan for Elon to create a big digital environment, but I don't spend much time on these analyses (a dice roll is not much less valuable that them sometimes...)
The only way to know is to wait and see.

^ The university itself is talking about it

These people claim to transmit knowledge, what a joke.

Political correctness makes people dumb, proof number 1645138776410:
University of Victoria (Canada) spends $24,000 in woke consultants fees to repaint a crosswalk with LGBT colors.
QuoteThe rainbow conundrum at UVic: Crosswalk refresh no simple paint job
UVic has said any repainting of the rainbow crosswalk will have to wait until it holds conversations with staff, faculty and students. It’s spending $24,000 on those consultations -

I think in reality Tiktok (a third party- China) has taken over.
Tiktok, Fentanyl and meth are the new drugs used by China in its 21st century Opium war.
China have its vengeance for the previous opium wars thanks to Tiktok (brain drug) and chemical drugs. China is using them as tools to pulp American youngsters' brain. Their plan works, while China's collaborators (big companies like Disney or politicians) don't do anything.
Most social media are toxic, but I believe Elon's twitter is the least toxic. Tiktok is probably the most toxic.

Agreed, seems to be the case although exponentially superior to 'social science' and 'political science' lol.
Exactly

It seems that there is a huge market for this type of people. People are ready to believe any magic formula to lose weight... Berg is a handsome middle-aged man, it's easy for a guy like that to manipulate an audience that's probably largely made of middle-aged women.

Betting against the monopoly is very risky. But if you beat the monopoly, then you get a lot of value.
The guy that manages to break the shackles created by the western elites' syndicate will be king. If no such man exist, the US will become a shithole and China will outperform them.

It's really strange to me that Elon Musk is now being turned into a 'public enemy'.
For many years he was one of the most liked and admired people in the world.
Now all he is doing is complicating his business & life and making potential enemies. By buying twitter he got too involved with politics & trying to influence information world rather than focusing on making Tesla succeed.
He disagrees with the moral monopoly that rules over the USA, so it's only natural that the thought police goes after him.
He spent billions to allow twitter to promote free speech, I respect that. Twitter used to be a digital gulag, who was infected with far left politics.
He also has a bigger strategy, which is to create a microcosm around X/Twitter. I'm not sure it'll work, but it's a bold bet. And bold bets pay sometimes. His political positioning may also be a bold bet.

Disney is the proof that money doesn't make you creative, ideology doesn't make you creative and newspaper backing doesn't make you creative.
Being... creative is what makes you creative.

Watching Ahsoka yesterday the thing I most realized is how little of a spectacle any new SW still is.
It used to be a huge deal to get new SW content. And this was even the case for a few years after the Disney purchase of Lucas' rights.
Especially the last five or so years though, they have milked the IP too much. And really apart from the first season of The Mandalorian and Andor (which I both liked though for different reasons), it hasn't really yielded anything too memorable.
Disney creators and writers aren't... creative. Most of there neurons are thinking about how they will force-feed the modern day "message" in our minds.
This company is a mess. Bob Iger is a substandard leader and his staff is mediocre as well.
Lucas was way better.

^ Western feminists want to have their cake and eat it too. It's not sustainable, they'll get a backlash soon (same for the ideologues that pushes feminism because they see it as a means to control global population).

I mean ancient history is not a mono-culture either.
e.g. Tacitus already wrote about how the Barbarian tribes that the Romans fought (and increasingly lost battles against) had women among the tribal leadership, something that was unheard of in his native Rome. So the idea that all ancient cultures were patriarchal or patriarchal to the same degree is a fallacy.
That's exactly my point.
History is not the caricature that modern feminists want it to be.
The myth that women were oppressed for thousands of years is exactly this: a myth. As for "the patriarchy" (a not very well defined concept), when it really existed, it was often times the reward for men having to sacrifice more for "the team" (war, difficult work, etc.)
Even today, in traditional countries like Armenia (which suffers A LOT despite the media not caring about it as much as they should), there are lots of female soldiers. Women get a recognition for that, because risking your life for the country (or tribe) is very valuable.

Dr. Berg (11 million subs) is now classified as 'pseudoscience' by youtube (which he is lol):
This guy is not even a doctor. He's a chiropractor... and he's full of himself.
BTW, medicine is sometimes... well not a pseudo-science, but between a science and an art. It's definitely not an exact science (far from it).

Yes, that's definitely how they see shorter men
And that's probably how they see a man that doesn't make a six-figure income
