Man he's handsome in that interview Can't blame her at all. This period/look of Leo was always a bit - I don't know - under my radar for some reason. One of them was probably my massive crush on Heath Ledger at this time and the fact I wasn't ready for all of the sudden grown up Leo (what he wasn't at all now looking at him but with 15/16 I couldn't handle this new look very well at first though I loved GONY).

When it comes to Joaquin Phoenix being weird all I can think is heck, his brother died in front of his eyes. Probably more than this he saw over years how his brothers life was falling apart and he could nothing do for him. Of course he isn't normal. I will never forget this horrible emergency phone call where he tried to save his brothers life Lately with Rooney Mara on his side he seems in great spirit. To the oscar buzz: There seem many great movies/performances this year. Beside from Leo, Phoenix and Driver, Christian Bale seems to give a strong perfomance in Ford v. Ferrari. I wouldn't even rule out Tom Hanks (A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood) or Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory).

^Feel the same about Phoenix - at least at this point (the movie just won at Venice Film Festival and TIFF). The only thing what could break his legs is that he doesn't give zero shit about those awards aka to less campaign LOL I think it's more likely to see Brad Pitt winning for OUATIH (supporting role) than Leo this time. But of course I can be wrong. I'm all here for Leo winning his 2nd little golden man But like Barbie said already it speaks volumes that most of his performances are always on such a high, praised level

About Leos look: I'm attracted to this man since I'm 12 and all I can say is there was no time I wasn't attractive to him since then, so... @oxford25 Couldn't agree more about Leo saying more with his eyes than with words as an actor. It's outstanding and making each of his perfomancs so intense!!! Adore that about him One of my favorite scenes ever: The look in his eyes here is always killing me, so full of pain, guilt and lost love #dying
