This is very random BUT I still think about it so I just tell it lol I'm watching right now season 4 of "This Is Us" (love this series so so much) and thx to one of the characters "Kevin" who's an more or less sucessful very troubled actor there is this topic "s-e-x with famous people". It's coming up twice and they even mentioned Leo this is why I tell you guys all of this However this Kevin dude is desperate to find his one true big love (inspired by the stoy of his parents) and he met this woman (Sophia Bush) and for a short time -lots of spoilers ahead!!!- he thinks she could be the one until she mentions she's married and he's just her celebrity hall pass. I was like wtf is he? I googled it and it's actually a real thing. Why the heck I'm even surprised? Later in the series the topic is coming up again with introducing a new character (played by the gorgeous Adelaide Kane) who doesn't want to date her best (male) friend because she's not over that famous guy she slept with called her "famous big shot one-night stand". And her best friend is like "Tell me at least who it is. A movie star? I hope you didn't fall in love with someone too old for you" and then "OMG is it Leo???" and I can't help but wondering if Leo ever happened something like this. It probably did and still does lol

^I can't believe I even remember those rumors back in 2013 about Leo and her LOL I met her once at the german premiere of "Safe Haven" in -funny thing- 2013. Actually she was super sweet and beautiful but tiny as hell Just pointing her height out because I never saw Leo with a tiny woman... or I just can't remember lol

This has nothing to do with Leo, like literally nothing, but I'm watching "The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2" right now and there is another Leo (Jesse Williams) who's melting my brain so I thought with my last 3 brain cells I do something good and share this delicious cookie with my favorite fanbase. ^Can I be even more honest? He looks like a strange wax figure version of himself It's not his best movie look so far... gives me J. Edgar vibes for some reason (speaking of bad make up ya know). Lily Gladstone on the other hand looks awesome so does the whole setting to say something positive!

^Look at the ears in the b/w photo from the real Ernest. At least to me they look identical with Leos in that photo above. Leos nose looks different too to me.

I read the book actually. But for me the movie is telling the story a bit different and not in Franks favour. With cutting his (and Aprils) background stories it looks in the movie like Shannons character said: Frank knocked up April to feel like a man again, to take control about her and the whole Paris plans. In the movie he clearly doesn't want to move to europe. He's just too afraid to admit it probably because he knows Paris won't fix their problems. I give him that much credit but despite from that he's a coward to me at least how he is portrayed in the movie.

I re watched "Revolutionary Road" with a friend last night who didn't know the movie (actually she barely knows any Leo movie so it's on me to fix that disgrace whenever we have time for a movie night LOL). However I liked the movie MUCH better than I remembered. Especially the soundtrack. It's like a dark scary cloud always warning something bad is happening. At one point my friend said "it's almost like a horror movie isn't it?" Two people (actually four with the kids) in this big house slowly destroying each other unable to escape the horror of their marriage. Hell that's indeed a situation you wish nobody in. What I forgot either was how FUNNY this movie is despite the horror. It's like a dark satire with some on point life questions about two people who probably shouldn't have married in the first place. Michael Shannons character was funny as hell and always puts his finger directly on everything what went wrong and nobody had the guts to talk about it out loud. Loved him. In this scene Leo is awesome and scary as fuck. I was really impressed how he managed to treat April like a fuck!ng maniac implying to put her crazy ass in a loony bin if she doesn't behave like a proper housewife/mother just to say one second later he can make her happy (in that damn more and more cursed house from their poisoned relationship). Now it becames very clear they are doomed. Frank is so incapable to handle a free spirited woman like April it is really hilarious sometimes and yet Leo is such a good actor I can't help but felt pity for Frank, because in the end of the day he isn't a bad guy. He just doesn't know it better and in his own way he is prisoned as April is - by expectations to women and men that time, external influencing factors, uncertainty about what he acutally wants not only from April but himself and his life. In short: the movie really won me over last night. One of my new favorites of Leo ⭐

All said When it happens one day no one will believe it. That's probably Leos intention LOL

I like him (or at least some of his movie performances) but all in all I think this kid is kinda overrated or I'm just too old to get that hype around him LOL Now I'm even more curious if he can stand next to Leo in DLU without being outshined. For me he's more "the new Johnny Depp" (when you like to call it this way) than "the new Leo" but whatever: Source
