    New promising project based on a pulitzer priced novel! @Lilja K Todd Haynes to Write & Direct HBO Miniseries ‘Trust,' Starring Kate Winslet Todd Haynes will write and direct “Trust,” a limited series starring Kate Winslet. Jon Raymond will co-write the project. This has the makings of something very special. The official logline reads .. In a story told from multiple, competing perspectives, a 1920s Wall Street tycoon amasses a sudden fortune but loses a beloved wife. Decades later, his attempts to control the narrative of his life are undone by a biographer who uncovers the ultimate secrets of the legendary marriage. “Trust” is set to be a reunion for Haynes and Winslet who previously worked on HBO’s “Mildred Pierce,” the memorable 2011 miniseries based on James M. Cain’s 1941 novel. Raymond also co-wrote that project with Haynes. Coming off last year’s “May December,” Haynes is also supposed to shoot a film noir, starring Joaquin Phoenix, in late July. Raymond, again him, co-wrote the script for that still untitled film which is set in 1930s L.A. and Mexico. It’s been described by Haynes as a “button pusher” that could warrant an NC-17 rating.

    Tobey is the worst Spider Man imo. I don't think he's a very good actor. That's why his career is non existing/fully depending on Leo. Without Leo he wouldn't even have been cast as Peter Parker in the first place. He's also a terrible person. Not that it really matters in Hollywood for a man like him lol
  5. Why people putting any (moral) expectations in some spoiled strangers is beyond me. Is that something american? 😄 I mean isn't he also connected with scientology? Those people in Hollywood are completely out of touch imo, living an mostly abnormal life compared to us.

    What do you think is his real hair color? Ash/dark blonde? So is he coming back afterall in season 2 of SANDMAN since this hair style is pretty much Corinthian coded. He isn't listed here. https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/sandman-new-episodes But: In a further casting wrinkle, there have also been some hints of "The Sandman" bringing back a fan favorite earlier than expected. Boyd Holbrook's The Corinthian was a massive success in season one, and the character was significantly more involved than in the comics. The Corinthian eventually is remade by Dream and becomes involved in later storylines, including the current run of "The Sandman" Universe: Nightmare Country by James Tynion IV. A recent interview with Entertainment Weekly gave some hints that Holbrook is interested in reprising his role in season two or season three — and he may get his wish. "I've been getting some information trickling down about that. I think we'll go back maybe in the summer [2023] to start doing some stuff, but I don't know when they'll call me, if it'll be season 2 or be season 3." So we may not stick firmly to the source material in future episodes of the show. Or at least, not the chronological order laid out by the comics. Based on our plot speculation, these characters could return for "The Sandman" season 2: Samuel Blenkin as Willam Shaxberd (Shakespeare) Deborah Oyelade as Nada, a prehistoric African queen who Morpheus sent to Hell Roger Allam as the voice of Lord Azazel, a Duke of Hell Munya Chawawa as Choronzon, a demon and a Duke of Hell Lily Travers as Barbie, a former guest of Hal’s Bed and Breakfast in season one Lenny Henry as the voice of Martin Tenbones, Barbie’s companion in the Dreaming Boyd Holbrook as The Corinthian, a Nightmare created by Dream https://www.tomsguide.com/news/the-sandman-season-2

    @Lilja K @Matt!
  8. People in "real life" never really care about bad behaviour of celebrities. I know for sure that people I know don't give a single fuck and I never heard someone saying ever "I won't watch a Leo movie anymore because of his so called creepy dating behaviour or I don't watch Johnny Depp/Kevin Spacey movies anymore because they're creeps in general" 😅 If you start mixing art with the people who are standing in front of a camera (or like Weinstein behind it) you can't watch shit anymore because no one is a freakin saint and everything in Hollywood is kinda connected.

    I'm somehow a bit curious about the new Superman David Corenswet and his Louis Lane Rachel Brosnahan. He's for sure an improvement over that bore of a tree Cavill.

    I never really was into him but I think he was romantically involved with Louis Lane, Wonder Woman, Lana Lang and Lori Lemaris among some others. https://www.dc.com/blog/2023/04/24/the-many-loves-of-superman https://www.cbr.com/superman-lois-lane-love-interests-girlfriends-ranked/ SMALLVILLE for instant had him and Lana Lang in focus. Same for Peter Parker. Those boys came around a lot actually 😄 https://screenrant.com/every-spider-man-girlfriend-love-interest-comics/ https://www.cbr.com/spider-man-peter-parker-girlfriends/

    I only cared for Andrew & Emma I also still think Andrew was WAY TO ATTRACTIVE to play Peter Parker. I didn't believe for a sec nobody on his highschool had a crush on him. I mean c'mon he's gorgeous and adorable 😅 I'm also still a bit disappointed Amazing Spider Man 3 never happened. Would have loved to see how Andrew and Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane had worked together. Unfortunately she was already cut from the 2nd movie. https://www.justjaredjr.com/2013/02/25/shailene-woodley-red-hair-for-amazing-spider-man-2-filming/

    This budget is insane 😱 @Lilja K Paul Mescal on the Set of ‘Gladiator II' Reshoots So, those “Gladiator II” reshoots currently happening in Sussex seem to have main actors involved. Paul Mescal — as you can picture above— was spotted, which means we have main actors involved. These might not just be pickup shots (via Daily Mail). Production on the film had wrapped on January 17. Scott’s upcoming epic was test screened in late April and is set for theatrical release on November 22. The budget, currently reported at $310M, will obviously be going up due to these reshoots. Let’s hope this isn’t a “Heaven’s Gate” type moment for Paramount.

    movies: Jack & Rose (Titanic) (many people would probably claim this love story is "unrealistic" because those 2 only knew each other for a couple of days. But I like the way how the focus on their relationship isn't only based on physically attraction but mutual interests, fun and saving EACH OTHER. Jack is probably the first person ever not only LISTENING to Rose but supporting her dreams. She's probably also the first person not giving a shit about his low position in society. They just "see" each other. I think that's a pretty good base for a relationship) Eric & Ariel (The Little Mermaid) (I was obsessed with the animated 1989 version but I think the life action movie did Ariel and Eric as a couple even BETTER. Fleshing him out and making him drawn to the ocean in a parallel to Ariel being drawn to land is so good. and kind of increasing that human vs merfolk tension to make it this romeo & juliet love story. I mean Eric sees Ariel turning back into a mermaid in front of him and all he does is holding her tighter. they're both gigantic nerds. he's a foot taller than her. it's incredible lol) Henry & Danielle (Ever After) (I just like couples that are equals - even when he's technically above her befitting. I mean, it's nice that he comes to get her, but she has no problem saving herself. I also like the fact that unlike everyone else around him, she just tells him what she thinks and he loves it so much) Noah & Allie (The Notebook) (good god I love their passion!!! I mean half the movie they arguing with each other but even though they're so different they're crazy for each other. I think Allie is one of my favorite female movie characters ever. she's a firestorm and I love Noah for never loosing the patience and handling her gently when she's coming for him - sometimes also physically. Maybe that's a double standard on my part, because if their roles were reversed, it wouldn't work at all LOL) Inman & Ada (Cold Mountain) (I could imagine that their relationship is kinda representive for many war relationships. I also absolutely believe he just dropped everything and marched back to her the only comfortable, soft, pure thing left in his life. I can FEEL their mutual longing every time I watch this movie) Landon & Jamie (A Walk to Remember) (as a teen I really loved them. I mean it's the typical good girl/bad boy dynamic but they're just too sweet with each other. I also love how PROTECTIVE and thoughtful he is never pushing her limits once and respects her even the parts he didn't really understand) Leo & Paige (The Vow) (I love how she finds her way back to him even though -SPOILER- she never got her memory back. even more impressive it's a true story. love them and love Leo for never ever giving up on her ONCE no matter how poorly she's treating him) Alex & Rosie (Love Rosie) (the besties to lovers never gets old right? I think it also happens a lot in real life. I think the movie also shows very realisticly how seemingly insignificant decisions are influencing our life and that we're really have to talk with each other otherwise we're wasting so much time) Jesse & Celine (Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight) (probably one of the most 'realistic' love stories/trilogies about love ever made. especially the 3rd part is hard to watch imo seeing them becoming what they actually never wanted - those movies might be something for you @Cult Icon) Tristan & Susannah (Legends of the Fall) (Now, I'm not entirely sure if Tristan really loved Susannah, but for heaven's sake, SHE loved him DESPERATELY and I feel so much compassion for her. The absolute inability to let him go, no matter how much he kept pushing her away. I mean, at some point in our lives, we've probably all experienced unrequited love) Victoria & Albert (Young Victoria) (another supportive man. I love supportive men of a woman in charge lol) Anakin & Padme (Star Wars) (they're my roman empire also unhealthy love isn't that uncommon I'm afraid) tv shows: Connell & Marianne (Normal People) (watched this mini series at least 3 or 4 times. I love it and the honest protrayal of them. Yeah it contains lots of sex but also so much more. Their relationship is troubled but also evolving in a very credible way. they felt incredible real to me) Charlotte & George (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) (they made me cry. she's so supporting no matter his mental condition she must be a hell of a woman what a role model. George was so lucky to have her) Dexter & Emma (One Day) (another from besties to lovers and so much better than the movie because it adds soooo much more of the book. The end made me a sobbing mess)

    What's a "love couple movie"? A movie where the main focus is on a couple in love?
