You somehow interpreted my criticism of Candice’s post and those on here who immediately came to her defense as “white knighting” Candice and you now say I’m the one who is terrible at reading? It wasn’t mind reading, if you weren’t suggesting or implying anything by mentioning Instagram follows then you just proved my point further that it isn’t at all newsworthy.

I was never even close to white knighting her. You're just still butt hurt about my response to you posting about someone following someone else on instagram which is the least newsworthy thing I've ever heard in my life. Also there was in implication in your post making the absolutely massive leap that because they follow each other on instagram they are in a relationship

Its pretty funny how people here were ascribing certain intentions to that video posting like they know her...saying it was "obviously ironic" when it really is not obviously ironic, maybe if you know her personally and she said she was posting it ironically then it would be obvious to you but not the rest of the world. People coming here to rag on her about her personal life is a little cringe, but people automatically assuming the best intentions because they aren't willing to admit that their queen might not be perfect is equally cringe. Her hanging out with Kim just makes the people saying she posted it ironically look silly. Really regardless of if it was posted ironically or unironically the Kardashians don't need or deserve any more attention than they already get.

You were making observations that have negative implications about her character (arguably libelous). I even rewatched that interview to see if I feel the same way I did before about it. I liked Dan Patrick when I used to watch his show but that interview was extremely unfair to her, it actually upsets me that people interpret that as a bad interview on her part and not the part of the interviewer, and that people assume she must have showed up to an interview drunk/high (I'm not saying you're the only one, surely if this had an effect on her career others also thought so). She could have been, but I didn't see anything to suggest that. I thought that could just be her demeanor. Anyway it's good if she's found something she enjoys more because I think the most plausible explanation of why she lost modelling work is because she didn't enjoy it.

Whether she dabbled in the chronic or not is really not a big deal. Y'all gotta stop perpetuating this thing that because she had a bad showing on the Dan Patrick show it means she was drunk or high. Honestly Dan Patrick himself put on a terrible interview with her. Most of her responses seemed pretty reasonable to me for the horribly unplanned questions she was getting.

It wasn't even uncomfortable to read. Y'all are somehow more offended than Barbara herself would have been to read that. Ultimately it was intended as a compliment regardless of how poorly received it was, so it would be impossible for her to be that offended by it. Weird maybe, not exactly offensive. If you wanna say this isn't the place for that that's perfectly fine too, but this white knighting and making a huge deal out of it is out of control

Yeah, not a lot on here unfortunately recently...but she does post on Instagram and apparently her patreon. She charges $20 a month, and it looks like she might have a couple updates a month. Hardly seems worth it, even though I’m a big fan of her stuff.

Discussions about other people’s sex lives are as strange as the public’s obsession with which celebrities are dating which other celebrities, especially considering they often go hand in hand. It’s part of being famous that people are going to discuss and scrutinize your life. I’m not saying anything about if that’s how it should be I’m saying that’s how it is. Anyway, Candice is ageless and looking as good as always and I’m happy to see high quality public appearance photos that aren’t just paparazzi.

I didn’t assume anything about your life, I took the words from your post. If you care about sexism that should imply that sexist things will get you worked up, unless by “caring” about sexism you mean that you are harboring sexist thoughts yourself and you care that they are propagated. If you care about a cause it should follow that you have emotional reactions related to that cause. I don’t think you’re sexist, I think you are getting worked up because you are interpreting things as sexist that aren’t. Being worked up can mean excited OR upset, and in this context we mean upset.

How can you claim that everything everyone is saying here is sexist, and then say you aren’t worked up at all?? Do you not care about sexism? Lol
