They shoot it at the end of July usually. I'm still holding out hope they don't use all the Angels (minus Candice and Behati) but I'm assuming they will.

Same! But the caption on the pic that Doutzen posted about it being the last time she'd see Candice before she had her baby makes me think she's due sooner rather than later. I love her hair and makeup, she looks very glam and it suits her. The dress is a little simple but she works it.

No, it doesn't, nor has it been proven that it translates into increased sales. That's part of what I was trying to say as far as VS resting on their laurels goes. They think because their girls get a lot of likes on Instagram/Twitter/etc. that it will translate into mainstream popularity. It's a big part of the fashion industry these days for whatever reason.

I love her style. I hope she goes too but I don't think she will.

In terms of popularity (social media wise, which plays a huge part in modeling right now), some of the new girls surpass the vets (in terms of likes that they get on both their own and VS' Instagram/Twitter/etc.) and a couple of them (Taylor, Sara) are soon going to have more followers on IG than Lily and Behati. I'd say that Taylor, Elsa, Sara, Josephine and maybe Jasmine have done the best job separating themselves from the pack of new girls and should be the ones that VS is giving more/more high profile events or things to.

I'm not all too familiar with the WWE but this hits the nail on the head. People have been calling for them to actually use their new girls over their vets who come in and shoot once every three months, show up for the holiday commercial and walk the show. Give them more high profile things to do - wear the FB, open the show/segments, better press events and promo. VS has been resting on its laurels for a long time and it's showing. People are bored.

She originally signed in February of 2015 along with the other 10 new girls. Allegedly most of those contracts were for a year to begin with.

@ the Elsa comment, so true. But I agree, I think it would be too coincidental to have three Angels and not have it tied to VS somehow. It looks like some kind of Editorial. The photographer has been shooting for Elle recently-ish.

I think it's pretty amusing and out of left field too but the process itself isn't, if that makes sense. Is it even for VS? I don't recognize the shooting crew.

I don't know why people are outraged/confused/whatever by the fact that it's obviously a PR/management move. It's pretty common with voting for lots of lists, awards, etc. Like the Teen Choice Awards voting that I saw bombard my social media feeds over the past few weeks. It's for the most part predetermined, they don't give a shit how many votes any one thing gets. It's all about PR for them. In the case of the TCAs, they know who is going to "win" months ahead of time and they make sure they'll be at the awards to accept it. Telling people to "vote" for a person/band/movie/model/etc. is purely a way to drum up more interest and more PR for whoever is making these lists or giving out awards. Good for Stella and her team.

Maybe they'll be keeping swim for PINK? I guess the sub-brand sells well enough in general. Does anyone know how they "track" sales for each girl?
