I'm waiting for the show to be repeated in a few minutes. I'm gonna listen really carefully what she says. I do expect this was her last show, bc normally angels won't say they are going to leave if they are going to walk another year. Bringing the news in the media, seems to me this was her last walk. What I understood VS wanted to negotiate with her, but she made her decision. Ok I watched the programm. DAMM SHE LOOKED SOO BEAUTIFUL IN THAT PROGRAMM, although I know her face I was shocked again. At first Doutzen was very vague about it and secretively, like she really said close to nothing about it, only there were other brands interested in her, and perhaps she could stop one day with VS. The interviewer reacted really shocked. Then after 10 min her agency came to talk with the interviewer and said a decision was made. The interviewer asked what the reason was why she would stop perhaps. Their answer was: stopping at height of career, interest of other brands, Doutzen's familiy life. Still they haven't said: Doutzen is going to stop with VS, or the fact this was her last walk. The interview was quite contradictive. Possibly Doutzen and her team are still thinking about it. There are offers of other brands and it depends on what those brands are offering, and she wants more family life and how her acting career is going to develop. My opinion is this OR was already her last walk, OR next year will be, but she won't stay longer than that.

Yur right it was once, but also was unfair Miranda became an angel before Doutzen. Possibly I am overreacting lol, but still..

@hollander yep true. I remember saying that Doutzen said in a Dutch program that every angel in principle will get to wear the FB. But no, VS was in love with Miranda, Candice, and let Adriana wear it a 3rd time. Ok I get Adri and Ale, they were there since prehistoric times. But Miranda got to wear it twice and Candice earlier than Doutzen. I'm thinking: Hellooooo who is in the top 5 of supermodels, who is important in the fashion industry. @schemer nobody said VS is forcing her out. They just make her wait so long for the FB (if she was waiting for it), And the change is getting bigger during the years a model is going to leave.

Like it was said earlier she was never going to be like Adriana or Candice for VS, so its the perfect time to move on and do other things. Plus she did talk about other lingerie brands showing interest in her, so I am sure we will see her work for other brands but why would she leave VS if she would work for other lingerie brands? Plus she did talk about other lingerie brands showing interest in her, so I am sure we will see her work for other brands but why would she leave VS if she would work for other lingerie brands? No, Doutzen replaced nobody. She was a new angel, like Adriana was. I think Elsa is more like a replacement for Doutzen. Lais a replacement for Adriana?

Who in GODS name is going to replace Doutzen next year. I think someone here was right, that Doutzen has different priorities now (her family), and doesn't care that much anymore for her career. After she got her first child perhaps she lost interest in modelling a bit. Compare her energy in 2008 with 2011.

Its good she wants to stop still on height of her career. But it totally sucks she doesn't get the FB ever again. I just can't understand this. She has been walking since 2005 and an Angel since 2008. She should have gotten the FB much earlier. Now I understand all her flash back instagrams. Like every day she posted a photo of her in a show in previous years from 2005 to last year. Still I feel really sad now.

Ohh guys I'missing you here. I don't have time to see the VSFS until this weekend if its already on youtube+ I have to catch up on all the pages here. After spending that much weeks on this forum, I am dissapointed not to have seen it yet while you all have. IN the Netherlands they are broadcasting it on the 15th (I have to wait soo long). If its on youtube already I could seen it, but don't think I've time this coming days. Doutzen will be in RTL late night this evening so she is promoting it in the Netherlands, and she will be hosting the show, but that isn't saying much. She just says a few lines to the camera. 1 question: do they do a lip sync video every year? Was the one of last year better?

What you need when you watch the VSFH is the biggest flatscreen tv there is with the best HD quality. Make a special evening of it with girlfriends, drinking champagne. Or something healthy if you don't want to feel so fat compared to the models.
