Yes D looks older than she is. Perhaps its the pregnancy and the lack of sleep and the lot of work. But I do love the mature look on her. She really shines, and makes her look vulnerable. @hollander, something else: What I find irritating is how the Lexmond family is sucking up to Doutzen. And apparently Jetteke and Douzen are great friends. Find the Lexmond family always irritating. What do you think.

I watched it with my mother. And she totally agrees on there was to much emphasis on the singers, esp. Taylor Swift, my mother also hates her. She also said you could hardly see the outfits and the models and the whole show was too rushed.

Ok so the show is being broadcasted in a few hours here in the Netherlands. I already saw it on the VS website, but now get to see it in HD. Don''t know why I'll be watching, bc I hated the show. Whats more tragic is that the Dutch public has only recently got to known the VSFS b/c Doutzen became more famous only the last few years and the show was only broadcasted since 2010. It's a shame the Dutch public doesn't know how amazing the shows before 2009 were. They only know the vulgar, cheap, low quallity it is now.

Yes, we didn't see the outfits, we didn't see the models, we only see stupidites. This show is becoming a caricature of itself.

By the way, I think no man would find Iza's stomach sexy while she thinks it is.

Its funny that at first we were all really negative about Lindsay. But after seeing the show, everybody thought she really shined. She looked happy to be there, had great energy and her walk was great.

^^LOL that's really funny. I have always believed that too much exercise is unhealthy. But I agree with you. Elsa's abs are just perfect. You see her stomach is firm, but not too muscular. I think her stomach is most ideal, also as you say she has an amazing shape with curvy hips and waist. If you compare the 2 pictures everybody sees directly that Elsa's stomach is 1000 x more appealing than #bodybyIza's abs.

Haha. She talks creepy as well. She doesn't move her head and stares all the time. Her voice is also weird. I really laughed when D said that Sarah is actually there to make her as happy as possibly bc apparently Sarah also works with Sunnery's agent to make sure they spend time together.

I wrote a review as welll a few pages before and forgot to say this as well. I agree with what you said.

Ok I finally watched to show on the VS site. NO HD quality, so sometimes could hardly see the models, but ok. Here are my comments: Definately not better than the last few years. It was quite a dissapointment for me, after looking forward to it for so long. It did nothing for me, it didn't have the WOW feeling. The really last good show we had was 2010, ok in fact it was 2008, but '10 still had it for me. And I think this show was worse than 2012 and 2013, which is saying something. The editing is partially to blame for that: the models weren't even on screen for 1 second. Segments I liked the most: Gilden Angels, Fairy Tale, Angel ball. Segments I hated: Exotic Traveler, Dream Angel, Pink Visual Effects I liked: with some segments it really helped, like in Gilden Angels, Fairy Tale and Angel Ball the visual effects were AMAZING, Visual Effects I hated: but in ET, Dream Angel and Pink, the visuals were too much and sooo distracting, I felt like I was in a Candy Disco with all the lights. They should NOT use the visual effects in EVERY segment, they could alternate between segments. Music: the only music I loved was with Gilden Angels, with the rest I was falling a sleep and Taylor Swift was really irritating. The music in Exotic Traveler and Angel Ball was a BIG dissapointment. They should have made some mixes like they did in the past. IN ET they could use some eastern/arabian music and mix it with something modern. In Angel Ball they could have done some classical music and mixed it with moderns sounds. I think the music can make or break the show. In this show it breaked it. Terrible moments: 1. Adriana and Alessandra walking togething, I cringed. 2. Moments of Taylor, Lily and Karlie. 3. The shots of Izabel and her poses. Models who shined: Candice for once didn't irritate me, perhaps bc she behaved like an adult and didn't over do the sexiness. I'm starting to like her. Doutzen shined, but she does the same poses every year. Magdalena's eyes are mesmerizing, Isabeli Fontana, the most professional model of all times was a sparkle for me in the show. Romee Strijd and Bregje Heinen were extremely HOT. Esla Hosk was totally HOT and looked amazing in her outfits BUT it goes as far as that. She doesn't have charisma. Candice has more charisma than here. I could hardly see the other new models due to fast editing and low resolution so after I see the show on TV next monday I will come back on that. If I would rate this show it was worse than the show we had in the last years. They made some great outfits and loved the visuals in some of the segments, but the music was totally off for me. The show lacked tension and power. Taylor Swift and Ariana took too much attention and space on the runway.

I don't really like Sarah I think. I really had to laugh about Mo her stylist. And that the head editor of the Dutch vogue had to cry about the photos of Doutzen and Sunnery was sweet.

The whole idea that to become a topmodel you need a personality is a myth, bc its not true. What they want is a fake personality, a way to distinguish yourself from other girls, bc there is so much competition. Some models like Doutzen coincidentaly actually do have a personality and that perhaps did have a good influence on their career. But a lot of models were/are the most unlikeble people ever with zero personality.

And I have to say Doutzen looked absolutely stunning in the RTL late night show. Very natural, less make up. I like the mature look on her. She really shines as a woman and a mother.

Well her agent clearly said: We had a lot of talks and the decision has been made so she already signed or left.. and after that they continue to talk on why she might stop doing VS.. but be honest? How many ex VS Angels literally confirmed they were leaving VS? They all gave some hints or just dissapeared. I think she is preparing on leaving Yes I know her agent clearly said that the decision has been made. But the interview was contradictive and they didn't literally say Doutzen was going to stop. It wasn't in that many words. Still they wouldn't talk about this in the media, if you are pretty sure you want to leave VS. Once its out there in the media there is no way back. So my opinion is they already made the decision D is leaving VS. Its more like the negotiating when she will stop. But sooner or later it happens.

No she and her angency didn't confirm she was leaving, but the fact there is a good possibility This is what I posted in the VSFS forum. At first Doutzen was very vague about it and secretively, like she really said close to nothing about it, only there were other brands interested in her, and perhaps she could stop one day with VS. The interviewer reacted really shocked. Then after 10 min her agency came to talk with the interviewer and said a decision was made. The interviewer asked what the reason was why she would stop perhaps. Their answer was: stopping at height of career, interest of other brands, Doutzen's familiy life. Still they haven't said: Doutzen is going to stop with VS, or the fact this was her last walk. The interview was quite contradictive. Possibly Doutzen and her team are still thinking about it. There are offers of other brands and it depends on what those brands are offering, and she wants more family life and how her acting career is going to develop. My opinion is this OR was already her last walk, OR next year will be, but she won't stay longer than that.

OMG, first thing I saw when coming this thread were this two posts and I think: She died? :shock: Almost got a heart attack Then I saw it was about her leaving VS Poor you.

But having said that. You wouldn't bring that up in the media if your not planning to stop in the near future. With near I mean that next year maximum could be her last walk.
