Adriana is the longest running angel but nowhere near the biggest. She's actually pretty mid level when you consider those who came before her: Stephanie, Helena, Tyra, Heidi, and Gisele. I may be in the minority but I wouldn't mind Ale getting her 3rd fantasy bra or opening the show. What people mean by her being the biggest VS face of all time is she's had the most memorable and successful VS career to date and no one is wrong for saying that. Quite frankly, I don't think any other model will surpass or even reach Adriana's VS success.Gisele and the others you've mentioned are bigger models if you look at the biggger picture, no one is mental enough deny that. It can also be argued that, Heidi is the biggest commercial model of all time even though Gisele is the bigger model in general. Just making a point.

Realistically, how much buzz does VS show even get? Their ratings are getting worse every year. I highly doubt non-VS fans ever bother with pre-show hype. It gets a lot of buzz and 9 millions views a year is More than enough. All my Instagram was filled with the VS performers and it was all over the press. The general public could care less who is nominated for an AMA in comparison to who is performing at the VS show especially with someone like Rihanna performing who they love. Current twitter trends tell a different story. I think your other post was outright reaching but gotta agree with this one. We all love the vsfs, but the AMAs? Come on

Lol idk why ppl like comparing Ale to Adriana. VS has shown supremacy and favoritism to Adriana for years and people keep holding out on hope. I don't think Ale is having sleepless nights over it though. But daaamn, at this point, Adriana has cemented her status as their most ICONIQUE Angel. Girl has left no stone unturned. She doesn't even have a competition. VS remains obsessed with her. The woman's impact can't be denied.

Wow. It's impressive that this is her 3rd campaign in a row for them. I think she brings a lot of vibrancy and energy to Vogue Eyewear which they lacked that's why they continue to use her

We're on the same page. One thing is for sure, she's not going anywhere. She's been in the industry for more than 15 years and she's managed to outlive all those models, whose names shall not be mentioned, that people compared her with to bring her down.

Thanks for this. She'd also at some point failed for other publications too.Like I said, that one cover doesn't define her capacity to sell covers, in order to know for sure, we need more info. But I will be the first to admit she's not the strongest cover girl. I love her but most of her covers are hits or misses. Although, not being a strong cover girl hasn't stopped so many others from selling well. I could list a lot of prominent models and celebs that completely failed at delivering. Also, Kik is right, she does well in commercial. Kia Motors, Maybelline, Mavi and a string of other brands have come out to say she can move products extremely well. More than anything, she's a commercial model. There absolutely nothing wrong with that, Tyra, Heidi, Kathy did alright as commercial girls. I don't even know why Adriana and her team are pushing this high fashion thing so high. I mean, getting a Givenchy campaign and a Vogue cover here and there are absolutely fantastic, but they shouldn't make it there main goal. I feel like she'd do better in magazines like Elle and Bazaar they are great magazines that have a commercial edge to them. Also, I think Adriana doesn't push her covers/eds well enough on social media. That might be a reason?

Hi guys, does anyone here follow the numbers of copies sold in any magazine issue featuring Adriana as the cover star? I've always wondered why she doesn't get as mamy covers and I just learned that her VP cover did very badly, sales wise. Obviously that one cover doesn't define her capacity to move magazines because there are A--ist models/celebs that also do badly occasionally, but I'm just really curious to know how she does on the newsstands.

This video just goes to show how crazy sexy modeling was. Lol it could be a little too risqué but that's what made it so fucking fascinating. Even the high fashion stuff back was the stuff art was made of. Now? This tacky as hell industry that's all about instagram likes has turned into a farce. I mean, I'm so glad Adriana, Gisele and Tyra were all born in an earlier generation, just look at that unapologetic swagger and raw sex appeal they oozed. It's so provoking. I can't think of any single girl (ok maybe a few) that can produce such command. I want that era back!

Oh yes yes Hilary's morphing face has been giving me nightmares. She's such an incredibly beautiful woman tbat I can't stand the way her face is rapidly changing. She needs to stop whatever she's doing because she's not old, I hate how she looks so gaunt now. I'm taken aback by the comments in here about Caroline T. I wouldn't call myself and avid fan of hers, but I always thought she still has that youthful fresh faced appearance. Maybe I only pay attention to her edited editorials/campaigns. Natasha always had that kind of face that can't hide signs of aging. Not surprised about this. There's something sexy and regal about Isabeli that forces me to not pay attention to her age. I can't really tell if her age is showing because she's the kind of woman that has always been womanly from the beginning. Alessandra seems to be taking good care of herself, she looks better now than she did 3 yyears. Around 2012, she looked 5 years older. Whatever she's doing seems to be working in her favor. About the quantity of models' work in their late 20s. It sad that the industry basically shuns models when they reach a certain age. I think it's safe to say if you're having a steady flow of work in your 30s, then you're already a legend and chances are, even if your work quantity slows down in the future, there are always going to be people who are going to want to work with you. I think Edita is still doing well for herself, mercifully. It's maryna that has completely disappeared and it's sad because she's a good model.
