This is the most self-serving, self-indulgent crap I've ever seen since LeBron's 1-hour special on ESPN to announce he's leaving Cleveland. For me, this year's cover gimmick literally demotes any meaning or legitimacy that was ever involved in a model landing the cover of the SI Swimsuit issue.

As far as the athletes, I'm very, very happy. I've always had a crush on both Caroline and Lindsey, and they didn't disappoint. I love that they're both kinda shy, but went for it with bodypaint anyway. Because it's SI and that means something! (Or used to, anyway). Ronda was much better than I expected.
As per usual, I agree with pretty much every thing you say, Clauds. Only additional notes or differing opinions from my end... Nina - all time fave after Bar R, and she looks amazing. But why so much spray tan? She's orange-brown?! Still...smoking hot. Sizzling. Crissy - I am one of the ones that can't stand Crissy...but she looks damn good this year. I discovered that, much like Jessica Simpson, Crissy on "mute" is a huge improvement. Kelly - I thought Kelly's body this year was amazing, but those bags under her eyes have their own gravitational pull and I can't stop looking at them. Rose, Robin, and Kate B - YAWN. I love Rose's personality, and what a body. But this year, her pictures really suck. Hannah D - from a near-perfect 10 to barely a 3 with that ridiculous operation. I'm so disappointed. Ashley - Looks better in a two-piece, though...her one-piece suits look like they just don't fit. I don't dislike Ashley---she is what she is which is AWESOME for her and other brands---but I abhor what SI is doing to this once-phenomonal annual issue. Her presence brings the entire magazine down. And my 2nd favorite (after Nina), Barbara - looks amazing and beautiful, but those suits are way too boring and conservative. The wet white shirt was her chance to blow the entire rest of the cast away, and there were only a few pictures and all very, very conservative. Oh well, hoping she wins ROTY and is a mainstay for years to come.
